I had some issues with places being closed when trying to return it (that should have been open) that made returning it a bit challenging. Their customer service was responsive though and that is appreciated. ### 3/5 — Bit patchy *2026-01-01, version 10.0.1* Used a ChargedUp in London - it’s hard to find the exact place where the are somewhere as busy as central London. I also had problems returning the charger - I found a place with a space but the machine would not accept the charger. I went to another location which didn’t have a space according to the app - luckily it did. It says it’s free for 5 minutes however it didnt say how much it was per minute or per hour it was after that. After 11 minutes I took it of charge and I was charged £3 for that time, had I known it was going to be £3 for an hour I would have left it on for 49 more minutes . The stations do not clearly advertise how much it is per minute or per hour, hence why I am very unsatisfied about This service . Biggest problem is the map of where they are is totally out of date, don’t trust when low on battery. They basically scammed half year of my subscription fee and when i ask for them to clarify they just said "you can mail me back the chager" at my own cost too. You borrow a charger for what feels like a reasonable £2.50 an hour then spend the night wandering the city looking for an empty return slot. The app tells you they’re everywhere but they’re nowhere. Inserted the code manually and took ages. 2) Added my payment method, followed the step by step process. When it was time to take the power bank wouldn’t come out nevertheless they charged me already and started counting the time even though I couldn’t take the power bank. 3) Tried to send emails but the window wouldn’t close after sending them.
