When planning a trip, it can be challenging to locate specific areas if you’re not familiar with the surroundings. A search feature would allow users to place a marker based on their search, making it easier to identify the nearest charger to that spot instead of having to scour the map. ### 4/5 — Paknsave Lower Hutt *2025-02-26, version 2.1.0* Difficult to swing arm towards vehicle and also to terminate the session. My iPhone still shows charging at 80% several hours after session finished ### 3/5 — Faster polling please *2025-02-09, version 2.1.0* Please decrease polling interval from the current 30-35 seconds to 5-10. And have a little sand timer to indicate when it will next get stats. And have it update immediately when returning to the app. 30s is so long that users don’t even know if it updates at all. Come on devs! Not sure why this had to be made worse with this newer version of the app. ### 4/5 — ‘Directions’ button should open Apple Maps *2024-07-09, version 2.0.0* Nice update, but the app should have an option to open Apple Maps as the default when you select the ‘Directions’ button, not just Google Maps. On iOS, Apple Maps is becoming preferred and vastly superior to Google Maps experience for navigation. ### 4/5 — Works well *2024-03-09, version 1.7.1* We hired an EV in NZ and used this app across the north island. Worked well. Suggestion for the developers- the Report Queue function should notify the person who is using the charger that someone is waiting. Doesn’t accept AU sign up details for credit card. They charged me $50 for a full car charge. Reinstall has no effect. ### 1/5 — on OS 15.2.1 latest update doesn’t work??? !!! *2024-08-25, version 2.0.1* after update it does shows just white screen… ### 1/5 — Very inaccurate *2023-10-29, version 1.7.1* Had to spend an unscheduled night in Kawerau on motel slow-charge as the faulty charger was showing as all good in the app. Help line was not helpful - told us we should check the website which is why you have a phone app I would have thought. An expensive and lengthy drive. ### 1/5 — Unreliable chargers and bad service *2023-07-09, version 1.6.5* No help when the charger wouldn’t start and it took the customer service 10 minutes to help get it going while we stood in the freezing winter rain, and then it failed after 13 minutes of charging so we had to race back to the car, but the charger was locked in our port and wouldn’t remove, and customer service couldn’t release it by rebooting, and the emergency stop button didn’t release it, and so we had to keep standing in the driving rain while we found out where our car’s emergency release cord was. And then they refused when we politely requested that they credit back the $7.91 charge because due to their shoddy machine we were freezing and wet and the experience added a bunch of stress and time to our journey. Rented a Tesla. Saw a ChargeNet charger on maps and decided to give it a go as it was closer than a supercharger. Was super simple and easy to to use. Charged super fast. 0 hassle. With we had as many chargers in Perth. The app was easy to download and unlike other nz ev charging apps it happily accepted my uk details and debit card. We were able to find and use charging points across the north island without needing a fob - the app was easy to use and payments and alerts worked well.
