This app is useless. Even the most basic functionality, searching for a station, does not work. Entered addresses and results returned are in other states. ### 1/5 — DANGER! SCAM APP! *2024-07-30* This app is imitating the CSEV app by the ChargeSmart EV charger network. It even has the same app icon. It does NOT work with any of the ChargeSmart EV charging stations. When you scan the QR codes at the charge station it’ll just display “Station ID not found”. This app is potentially dangerous as it could steal credit card information. ### 1/5 — Insists on Taking Mobile Number *2024-06-13* I already provided my email address which it verified via code, but insists on me providing my mobile number too! Absolutely not, they do not need to invade my privacy so deeply. So glad I bought a Tesla. I can’t stand these third party charger privacy grabbers. This was just going to be a “just in case” option, but now I refuse to use it at all. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Rest assured; we will consider making the mobile number requirement optional in the future to address privacy concerns. ### 1/5 — Junk *2024-03-13* How do you think your ever going to make any money at all with this terrible app? Just allow people to tap a credit card at the terminal. For God's sake stop doing stupid stuff and ditch this garbage app. You might as well flush your investment down the toilet. No one is going to figure any of this out. We aim to enhance the areas that look good in accordance with your requirements, or you can also phone our support number to voice your concerns. ### 1/5 — Don’t use these chargers unless you are desperate *2024-01-11* I used the fast charger located in my town and I contacted them due to an over charge during a session and it has now been almost 3 weeks in calling it they still haven’t rectified this. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! **Developer response:** Hi Customer, Sorry for the unpleasant experience. Could you please provide your account credentials or station ID so that we can look into this? You can also phone our support number to voice your concerns. ### 1/5 — Insanely expensive, hardly charged *2023-11-09* Update: $145 for 12kWh (~2 gallons of gas) Customer service says I was charged correctly. DONT USE THESE CHARGERS. I used one of these chargers at a hotel I was staying in. Having used a lot of these and seeing that prices are usually around the same I didn’t pay too much attention to the price. I charged up overnight and in the morning I had a bill for $145. And worse, after over 9 hours on the charger it only gave me about 50 miles of charge. I basically had to drive directly to another charger. Customer service not helpful. ### 3/5 — Needs Improvement *2023-08-30* The developers of this app clearly didn’t do any testing or QA because it’s very buggy which makes signing up via the iPhone app very frustrating. When the code was sent via text to sign up I cut and pasted it into the field like I do for all other apps and websites but unfortunately it pasted all 6 numbers into the first field which is bizarre and an easy fix for the developers. I tried again and the same thing happened so I assumed it had timed out so I requested another code. I was never texted another code even though I tried having it sent multiple times. I then tried signing up with my email and it worked but had to manually enter the code. The app says you can use a credit card or PayPal for payment but I couldn’t find a way to use PayPal. The description of the charger I wanted to use says Free but also lists .40 per Kw which is confusing.
