## What is Charlie?

You are Charlie, a very smart mini Australian Shepherd on Park Avenue, and every human around you is a disaster. Survive Friday morning with the Maid, skip the line at the grooming salon (everyone knows the royal puppy), dodge Fluffy’s Volcano and Devil Modes, outlast Grandpa’s AC wars, loud TV and kitchen fires, grab the Lemon Chicken feast at Paola’s, survive Aunty’s driving all the way to Southampton, fly first class to Chicago, help move Aunty’s daughter home from Alabama, sell a crumbling townhouse with nothing but your cuteness, crash Federico’s party in East Hampton, fly to Ohio to meet Fluffy’s dad, and roam the Upper East Side for a whole day.

Mission Mode: 39 missions across the Upper East Side and beyond. Free Roam Mode: a whole day from 7 AM to bedtime, with twenty hidden golden bones, and one tap goes anywhere in the game. Auto Play Mode: Charlie’s whole week plays itself while you enjoy the chaos. Plus Survival on Park Avenue with the Top Dogs leaderboard, and the Daily Walk.

Every line is voiced, and an original soundtrack follows Fluffy’s mood from calm mornings to full Volcano Mode. Charlie is built natively for iPhone, iPad and Mac and fills the whole screen, and on iPhone Duo it fills both screens, folded or open. Play with touch, the keyboard or a game controller, chase Game Center leaderboards and achievements, and pick up where you left off on any of your devices with iCloud. Plays fully offline.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0 — 2026-10-28

Go anywhere in Free Roam Mode, meet Victor in person, tag along on Nichole's hunt for the cheapest liposuction in Chicago, and the drive to Southampton is finally survivable.

• Go to… in Free Roam Mode: one tap takes Charlie anywhere in the game, any time of day: Southampton's beach house, Federico's estate in East Hampton, Michael's hiding place in Miami, Nichole in Chicago, Annie's dorm in Alabama, Dad's house on the lake in Ohio, the UN, the hospitals and every spot on the Upper East Side. Everyone's there doing their thing when you arrive.
• Victor, in person: his $50k camper trailer with its "big renovations", and the restrooms he "supervises" at his parents' warehouse, just down the road from Dad's in Ohio. Auto Play Mode stops by every Wednesday morning.
• Nichole's lipo hunt: in Chicago, Fluffy and Charlie go with Nichole to three cosmetic surgeons, who all kindly tell her there's nothing to remove, so she ends up at a nail salon offering half-off toenails with same-day "lipo". She comes out exactly the same, with a loyalty card.
• The drive to Southampton is much easier: fewer swerves with more warning, the old Mini never gives out, and Charlie can't be hurt badly on the road anymore. Missions 9 and 10 can't be lost.
• A calmer Free Roam Mode: only what's in front of Charlie or touching him lights up and talks, two things at a time. Prefer the busy view? Game Settings has "Show everything in Free Roam Mode".
• Grandpa is the old man Fluffy lives with, no relation, and Fluffy and Grandpa's apartment is now 13A.

### 2.9 — 2026-10-27

Federico lands at the UN by helicopter, Fluffy flies to Ohio to see his father, CJ falls asleep on Charlie's bean bag, Victor calls in a cloud of smoke, and Michael still won't sign the divorce papers.

• Mission 39, Dad and Lubna in Ohio: Fluffy flies out to see his father in his grand house on the lake (twelve bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, the pride of Ohio). His stepmom Lubna promised to pick them up at the airport and didn't, tells Dad that Fluffy doesn't care, and shows everyone the plans for her gold-plated house back home. Auto Play Mode takes the red-eye every week.
• Federico at the UN: he lands by helicopter on official NATO business, representing Italy, where everyone still reveres his mother, the Ambassador. Fluffy sets off the security arch and gets taken for a delegate in the lounge with the free canapés. Every Friday morning in Auto Play Mode, or take a cab from Park Avenue in Free Roam Mode.
• Federico and the prenup: Fluffy's friend goes by his full name now, said the Italian way, and he keeps trying to have Michael served with divorce papers. Michael won't sign until Federico meets the conditions of their prenup, and Federico hasn't met a single one.
• CJ Dryskin: Fluffy's new friend from the bar & grill on Third, where Fluffy goes when he's broke, keeps turning up at the apartment and falling asleep on Charlie's bean bag. Fluffy has a hopeless crush on him; CJ has no idea.
• Victor, in a cloud: Fluffy's old friend now calls from his camper trailer in Ohio through a haze of smoke, pitching his business empire (he manages the restrooms at his parents' company) and getting every word confidently wrong.
• Auto Play Mode at Fast keeps the whole week: Sunday's family dinner and every evening's plans now fit, and Highlights weeks are shorter.
• Marlene is Grandpa's cousin, and she says "Grandpa" when she means him, so you always know who she's talking about.

### 2.8 — 2026-10-27

Fede throws a party in East Hampton, Michael hides in Miami, Victor calls from Ohio to say Fluffy ruined his life, Fluffy finally unleashes his secret weapon, and Auto Play Mode starts the moment you press it.

• Missions 37 and 38, East Hampton and Miami: at Fede's grand reception, his four dogs hide Fluffy's gloves and shoes all over the gardens and the woods, and Charlie has to get them back before the photo. Then fly to Miami, where Michael's parents swear he isn't home while he hides behind the water heater from Fede's very patient process server.
• Auto Play Mode starts the moment you press it: no setup screen, just Charlie's week. Change the speed and the excitement right in the game.
• Victor calls from Ohio: Fluffy's old friend video-calls to say Fluffy ruined his life (he waited three whole days at the Dust Devil Festival). He's Senior Executive Vice President of Global Hygiene Operations at his parents' logistics company, which means he watches Ruth clean the restrooms, and his "big renovations" are always on his camper trailer.
• Fluffy's secret weapon: when Fluffy gets mad he threatens to let his wild boar loose, and everyone near him panics. Push him into Devil Mode with George or Dr. Rob around and the boar comes charging out of nowhere. Nobody gets hurt, and Fluffy has never heard of any boar.
• Everyone goes by their name now: the narrator says Fluffy, Grandpa and Aunty, never "the Fluffy", across more than a thousand newly recorded lines.

### 2.7 — 2026-10-26

Charlie is made for iPhone Duo, Aunty's daughter Annie comes home from Alabama, Grandpa's sister Marlene calls from Miami, and the main menu is a lot less cluttered.

• Made for iPhone Duo: Charlie fills the outer screen when it's closed and the big inner screen when it's open, and the game carries on, without a pause, as you fold and unfold it.
• Missions 34 to 36, Annie comes home: Aunty drives a moving truck a thousand miles to bring her daughter back to Manhattan, because Fluffy says Charlie gets carsick. Pack the dorm while Fluffy naps on the futon, keep Puppy safe from a big dog at the campus playground, survive the drive, and get every box into the storage unit before Fluffy slips away. Her brothers turn up too: Joseph with a hand truck, Sam for the pizza.
• Marlene calls from Miami: Grandpa's sister adores her baby brother and can never, ever help. She can't hear "can you help", hears "Social Security" from across the room, and always reminds Fluffy he's getting the rent-controlled apartment.
• A tidier main menu: Mission Mode, Free Roam Mode and Auto Play Mode, then Player Guides and Game Settings. The whole cast gathers around Charlie on the title screen; tap anyone and they step to the front.
• Auto Play Mode never stops to ask: there's no daily summary card to tap through any more, so the week just keeps playing, and Auto Play Mode now flies to Alabama every Friday.
• More to hear: the hospital's monitors, the nursing home's halls, the ambulance, the fire engine, the park, the dorm, the moving truck and the storage unit, and the cast speaks hundreds of new lines.

### 2.6 — 2026-10-26

Watch Mode spends the week out on the town, Aunty finally has a listing worth millions, Nichole moves to Chicago, George picks up the phone, and the title screen gets tidier.

• A week away: Watch Mode stops going back to the apartment. After Monday morning the week stays out, with three nights away: Aunty's sleepover at her penthouse, a night in the Townhouse before its early open house, and Dr. Rob's overnight service-dog evaluation for Charlie, with a bill to match. The apartment only comes back if Grandpa beats them home.
• Mission 33, Nothing to See Here: Aunty's new listing is an Upper East Side townhouse with a hole in the ceiling, pigeons in the chandelier and a back garden gone full jungle. Fluffy brings Charlie to the open house, and Charlie keeps every buyer looking at him, not at the house. The Townhouse is in Free Roam too, and in Watch Mode every weekend.
• Mission 31, Nichole's going-away party at Paola's: she only turns up when Fluffy's paying, and tonight she quits her job and announces she's moving to Chicago for the deep dish.
• Mission 32, First Class to Chicago: Fluffy flies Charlie out to see her, first class, with Charlie in his own seat, 2A. Her desk at Shady Pines Capital, her apartment at Leakview Towers, and a toilet nobody may use.
• Watch Mode flies to Chicago every Thursday now: the airport, the flight and Nichole's apartment are on the weekly tour, and every visit ends with her throwing them out over something new.
• Fewer buttons on the title screen: How to play, The cast and Charlie's Guide are in the new Player Guide, right next to Bonus extras. The cast goes straight into Meet the Cast, where the narrator brings the cast on, one at a time.
• The whole cast speaks every new line, in both versions, and the new places have their own sounds, from the gate's chime in Chicago to the boiler in the townhouse's basement.
• Call George about the toilet, the leak or the latest fire and he hangs up on you, then tells the receiver what he really thinks of 11D.
• A mission's opening tip no longer drowns out the cast, and the lines that came round too often have hundreds of new ones (the R version's most of all).
• Speech bubbles stay on screen, long mission titles fit on iPhone, the drive to Southampton keeps daytime hours, and the Maid's daughter always keeps out of harm's way.
