Something is wrong with it. It also requires you to go online far too often. ### 3/5 — Could do with more choices *2023-04-15* Advertises itself as allowing players to make choices for food, table decor, and interior design but around chapter 6 the amount of choices you get drops a lot! And when you do get choices they are less interesting and amount of puzzles you have to complete in order to hit a story and choice segment increases as well. This makes some sense in terms of slowing player pace to give developers more working time but completing 3 puzzles without getting the reward of getting to pick out a plate or some cookies or whatever is really disappointing when the game started with so much more! Other than that, it's a your standard match 3 and story game. Nice unique art on some of the side characters. It has a fun story with a really cool stylistic art style. A bit cliché but still a lot of fun. It has no more ads than most games that are free and they have to make money somehow so I really don't have a problem with that. I do have two problems, one small, but the other being something that can make playing the game unpleasant I'll start with the first. It's simply that sometimes the dialogue can be a bit unnatural and I would really wish to see it improve since the story and the characters are so much fun. The second is that this game does have a really good looking art style that's very stylistic and distinct so it's sad to see the main character not have the very pretty dynamic sprites that all the other characters have her 3-D model is especially jarring next to the them I understand that the idea is to have a main character you can style, but having that character next to others in such a different and unique style can be really jarring and hard to look at to the point where sometimes I just don't want to continue the story so I don't have to see it and what's worse is I know she has a 2D sprite because i've seen it in the ads for the game it just isn't used in the actual game and I don't understand why since it's very well designed it would be better, less distracting and match more with the rest of the game to use the 2D version maybe make a self insert character to customize and use instead since you already have a separate name and are addressed as an existing person in the game to fit the want of a customizable character ### 3/5 — Fun but frustrating *2022-11-19, version 1.00.01* Unless you want to spend lots of money the game is fun but frustrating. I screenshots a lot of moments from the game because the food was just 😩👌👌👌. Another is the game isn’t too easy and allows you to challenge yourself. I’m level 398 from just 3 days of playing and I’VE NEVER SPENT ANY MONEY❌💵❌💵❌💵. I’ve seen a few comments about wanting to spend money when being stuck on levels but THERE IS A PITY SYSTEM!!! After failing a level like ~5-10 times, the game will give you a GOD LINEUP from beginning to end allowing you to finish the level. Then you get into the “hard” levels which might as well be called impossible. Truly the only ways to beat most levels is to use bonus items which you will run out of quickly and the only way to get more is to buy. I finally uninstalled on a level that wasn’t even deemed a “hard” level. But there are so many levels like that. You have a maximum of like 10 turns which is ridiculous. Im just so tired of these games that are pay to play. Charlotte always just stands around with her arms crossed. Nothing happening in each story. They keep redesigning one room. Isn’t it a restaurant and not a one room cafe? The decorations are similar in color and design. It takes 2 to 3 levels to place a new napkin,placemat, or plate. Hit level 100 and it’s impossible to beat the levels without spending real money. I deleted it at 116. I used all three power ups and I was still so far off from beating it. You’ll end up having to spend money to pass levels. Like other reviews have said, it gets super hard after level 100.
