So, what is missing? The symbol “raised to the power of x” is missing. I can type “𝑏²” but not “𝑏 ^x” in a shorter mathematical form. I actually like this app so far, but the dapper is that missing symbol. I would have given five stars. 😮‍💨 ### 5/5 — I love it! As of version 4.1, you can change the display font used to render characters. To choose a new font, go to “Settings > Advanced > Character Display Font” and choose a font from the list of installed fonts. ### 5/5 — This app is wonderful! It's geniunely the best unicode keyboard *2024-09-19* I've been searching for a good symbol keyboard for ages now and I'm geniunely flabbergasted by the amount of effort the dev put into charmap!! It has no in-app purchases. Unlike the other apps, it's not asking me to subscribe in the first 5 minutes of opening the app & it's actually functional and clean!!! It looks and feels JUST like an official app honestly. It's completely free and it honestly shouldn't be given how much work the dev put into the app. just.. don't make it mandatory because I'm still broke haha- ### 4/5 — Best Character Viewer Keyboard *2024-07-14, version 4.0.3* Great interface on iPad. The most intuitive character viewer custom keyboard I’ve tried. (Junicode Font) the next day i fast ly deleted Ruzi’s library instead of R.L. Julowie ### 5/5 — Works really well *2023-07-05, version 3.1* useful for me as a further maths student, i can create a collection of symbols which is helpful for explaining and asking questions to others without taking photos of everything. a search for character option in the app would be nice as some symbols are in different sections (how unicode arranges them). i assume the people complaining can’t follow simple instructions on adding it to the keyboard, same as other keyboard apps ### 5/5 — GOOD! *2023-05-19, version 3.1* Thank you for fixing the problem, now i can type nearly everything! You missed some parts like Cherokee extended and Cyrillic extended C, and a few cyrillic and latin letters, but apart from that, this is one of the best unicode apps ever! ### 4/5 — Amazing! *2023-03-25, version 3.1* I was able to make an alphabet using major letters from other ones. You might need to search the name of the alphabet for some instead of the language (Sanskrit will not work). I wish there was a better font for the Runic characters or all of the characters being the same font, but I’ll take what I can get. Also there should be a method of searching the character names rather than the alphabet. I was surprised to see some Alchemy symbols too, nice touch. ### 4/5 — Great app with minor issue. *2023-03-15, version 3.1* This app is lovely! It looks great, works great, and the customization is super easy. However, the only issue I found is that it works perfectly fine most of the time but in some apps, Instagram for example, the keyboard just looks like a big white rectangle, and none of the symbols are visible. Each character is individually formatted to be either (Left to Right) or Right to Left). It becomes a mess if you're switching between alphabet regularly. I used the APL glyphs and combining accents to write messages in my own custom emoji language. And the variety of standard Unicode math typefaces are always available for messages. And I keep any math symbols and logic language symbols handy. Great for computer science students or engineers. The box and line drawing glyphs are also nice to keep handy with this keyboard system on iPhone or iPad. Excellent product.
