## What is ChartSkins?

ChartSkins puts a living background behind your TradingView chart in Safari. Pick a scene, and your candles float over an aurora, a starfield, rain, a city at night, or any video, GIF or photo of your own.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install ChartSkins and sign in with your email (no password, a 6-digit code).
2. Turn on the ChartSkins extension in Safari.
3. Open any chart on tradingview.com. Your skin is already there.

WHAT YOU GET
• All 26 built-in skins, free forever
• Live previews of every skin inside the app
• The Workshop: loops made by other traders, reviewed before they go live
• Your own videos, GIFs and photos behind your candles (Pro)
• Opacity, dim, blur and layer controls, so your chart stays readable
• Dark-theme aware: skins glow on a dark chart

ONE ACCOUNT EVERYWHERE
Sign in with the same email on your Mac, iPhone and iPad. Your collection, settings and Pro follow you.

CHARTSKINS PRO
Every skin including Legendary, the Workshop, your own media, no badge on your chart, and new skins every month. Available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and can be managed in your Apple ID settings.

ChartSkins only changes how the chart looks. It never reads your orders, positions or account. Not affiliated with TradingView. Nothing in ChartSkins is financial advice.

Makes my charts 100 times more enjoyable

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-30

• Slide your wallpaper into place: open ChartSkins from Safari’s page menu and drag Left · Right or Up · Down until the part you want is behind your candles. Each skin remembers its own spot.
• Vertical phone videos in the Workshop (they fill the chart on iPhone).
• Workshop videos play more reliably on filtered networks.
• Skin tiers (Common, Rare…) are gone: every built-in skin is free, so they’re just skins now.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-30

• New guided setup: pictures of exactly what to tap in Safari, and each step ticks itself off once Safari reports in.
• Every built-in skin is free for everyone. No more locks in the Skins tab.
• iPhone: Open TradingView goes straight to your chart.
• iPhone in Low Power Mode: the skin starts on your first tap instead of showing a play button.
• Phones get a lighter copy of each Workshop skin, so the chart stays smooth and the phone stays cool.
• Sharper Workshop skins on Mac: the copy that matches your screen, or the full file on Max.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-30

No release notes.
