## What is ChartSlate?

Build, teach, and run realistic simulated electronic health records from one private, native workspace.

ChartSlate is made for health professions faculty and learners. Create multidisciplinary patient charts, add vitals, labs, medications, orders, notes, assessments, and simulated imaging, then save drafts or finalize reusable cases. Start with guided creation or move freely through the full chart whenever you are ready.

Turn any record into active learning. Use included activities for chart hunts, trend detection, handoff practice, medication safety, documentation review, patient teaching, prioritization, comparison, and interprofessional rounds. Copy an activity as a template, adapt its objective and timing, and pair it with an included or custom chart.

Run High Fidelity Simulation with nearby devices. Facilitators can prepare Ideal, Neutral, and Worsening paths, then release signed orders, notes, vital signs, lab results, assessments, or imaging as the scenario evolves. Target updates to selected learner roles and require acknowledgment without relying on a developer account or cloud service.

Bring content in through CSV tables and compatible case files. Select logos and simulated imaging through Apple's Photos and Files pickers. Share cases and activities through AirDrop, the system share sheet, QR launch links, encrypted nearby sessions, or the neutral SimulationCase format used for Bedside Coach interoperability. Choose a Student Safe export for learners or a Full Instructor export that preserves facilitator content.

Personalize ChartSlate with a school logo and colors. Use iPhone for focused chart review and participation, or take advantage of iPad for larger EHR navigation, touch, Apple Pencil activities, creation, and facilitation.

Privacy is built in:
- No account
- No advertising
- No analytics or tracking
- No developer collection of chart or activity data
- Content stays on the device unless you choose to share it or start a nearby session

ChartSlate is for simulated education only. Do not enter real patient information. It is not a medical device and is not intended for clinical care, diagnosis, treatment, patient monitoring, or real patient documentation.
