Let start with the sign up process. Took me three attempts to set up an account and on the third try it said the username was already used due to the fact it had succeeded but told me there had been an error. Finally logged in and as well as my email address it wanted my phone number and picture. They will try and say that this is for security purposes but it’s just more data for them to sell. App crashes far too many times especially when opening the ticket screen up. It takes far too long to verify the ticket you’ve just bought. Someone had the bright idea of not including the bus numbers on the tracker so if you’re in a busy area it’s pot luck trying to find your bus. And today, the app decided to deactivate my ticket requiring me to reactivate it as I was boarding the bus. And the service updates happily tell me about buses no where near me but not the diversion and alternate stop for the bus I was waiting for. There’s no clear instructions for the app and it doesn’t even tell you that you can tap on the QR code to enlarge it, a fact that most the drivers were not aware of so I can only guess at what kind of horrible training they’ve been given if any at all. ### 1/5 — USLESS *2025-02-06, version 4.27* the app is slow, u carnt do what u did on the my trip app! Because of you I had to get an uber! Give me an uber refund to my meeting. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-02-06, version 4.27* Ridiculous app - the tracking isn’t accurate at all, the timetable doesn’t have live updates, the buses don’t have numbers on them so if you’re looking for a specific one you have to tap them all till you find it. It won’t work to find nearby stops for me so I can’t look at the timetable. Mytrip was spotty but at least the features were accurate and I could see what buses were what ### 2/5 — Rubbish!! *2025-02-03, version 4.27* I wasn’t made aware that chase rider tickets were moving from MyTrip to their own app until the morning of when I need the ticket. I then have tried to log my son into his account so he can have a ticket to get to school and the app won’t log in him in and it also won’t send a link when I press ‘forgot password’! It’s also SOOOOO slow that it’s took me over half an hour to keep trying to get it to work.
