### 5/5 — Mostly Good - Two Issues

Edit: The two main issues I posted below have been fixed. Overall, the app works great and I can tell the developers have put a lot of time into it. If the dev team there celebrates like my dev team does, you guys have earned a nice lunch. Unrelated to the app, I recently ordered a replacement part (I damaged a cable) and the support team has been very responsive.

I’m using this app with a new Gladius Mini S that has been updated to the latest firmware as of June 9th 2023. The app is installed on an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The app connects to the ROV without issue, though it often does take about a minute to connect. It serves its purpose and honestly I think it looks pretty cool. There are two pretty big issues however.

Issues

1. Video mode is unusable. After switching from photo to video mode, the live video feed is stretched and zoomed in so much that the right-half of the camera feed is cropped off. This is my biggest complaint.

2. Settings are not saved. Every time I power on the drone, I have to change metric to imperial (it’s what I prefer) and I have to manually enable the claw to work with the right wheel. Every single time. - Related to this, the claw button does not enable claw controls as suggested by the manual.

Overall the app is great, but please 🙏🏼 address these two issues in the next release.

The app doesn’t connect to my chasing drone so this purchase has been a complete waste. Chasing has not replied to any of my support inquiries over the past 4 weeks.

The app just won’t connect to the Gladys Mini S. Luckily I have a Pixel 6 and it does work with that.

Put the chasing M2 thought I got a great deal. Got it from blue sky drones. Oh my god what a mistake. This thing is the worst I bought it cost a ton of money. Almost 3 grand figure. Of course it’s gonna work out of the box. Nope, their app doesn’t work. Many people are having the same problem. Their instructions are minimal. They don’t even tell you how to charge the darn thing. Worst of all customer service, nonexistent the things, a piece of junk if you got one that works turn around and return it get your money before it’s too late. Don’t make the mistake I did.

Like a previous review on here, the live stream when in video mode is zoomed in and cropped so that only the left side of the grabber claw is visible. Other minor problems:

-settings revert to default whenever the app is closed.

-the claw on/off button on the controller isn’t working for me. I need to turn it on and off in the app in order to operate it.

I don’t write reviews often. But, one expects an app to at least work. DJI’s app works as does Autel’s. This app crashes seconds after startup. This renders the whole easy-to-use Gladius Mini experience useless. Even in a pool. I want my money back.
