In any application ever ‘lifetime purchase’ means that you won’t go through subscription hustle again but in this app each update means that you will wait at least a month till your subscription is restored. After a recent update the lifetime access disappeared completely. The app now locks features or asks me to pay again even though I already have the lifetime plan. This looks like a deliberate bait-and-switch. I trusted the developer with a one-time lifetime payment but the update silently removed what I paid for. There has been no clear explanation or automatic restoration of access. If you are thinking about buying this app especially any lifetime deal be very careful. The developer has already shown they will override previous purchases through updates. I recommend avoiding Chat Pen until they fix this issue properly restore lifetime access for existing buyers and communicate transparently. Very disappointing experience. This is mostly a text based client. It can’t create images or view links you send.
