I’d like to raise two interface choices that I genuinely think have made the experience worse.

The first is the “Listen” button. It used to be immediately accessible, and now it’s hidden inside the three-dot menu. Congratulations: a simple and useful function has been turned into a small daily treasure hunt. I understand the appeal of minimalism, but hiding features does not automatically make the design better.

The second thing I find rather poor in taste is the constant presence of “Like / Dislike” feedback under responses.

I completely understand that you want user feedback, but displaying it after every single answer gives the impression that ChatGPT is constantly looking for reassurance: “Did you like it? Did I do well? Are you sure? Would you like to press the little thumb?”

It feels a bit pathetic.

Feedback should be available when users want to give it, not visually begged for after every response. A smart interface should convey confidence, not look like an application permanently seeking approval.

I would therefore suggest:

* bringing the “Listen” button back as an immediately visible action;
* allowing users to customise which quick actions are shown;
* making “Like / Dislike” less intrusive or optional.

Sometimes improving an interface simply means not making something worse when it was already working perfectly well.
