If you are not on Chatter you are missing real authentic connections **Developer response:** Thank you! ### 1/5 — Reiterating the Disappointment *2025-10-12* I’ve dedicated a lot of time and energy into building weekly rooms and communities on Chatter Social, hoping the platform would value creators who genuinely contribute to its growth. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but rewarding. The overall user experience feels inconsistent and unpleasant — bugs, glitches, and lack of proper support make hosting or maintaining engagement frustrating. But the bigger issue lies with how the platform is managed. The CEO, who also tries to operate as a “content creator,” has shown little genuine respect for the users that keep this app alive. Unless you’re making in-app purchases (which Apple and Chatter both take a cut from), your voice often goes unheard. What’s even more disappointing is the clear favoritism. Longtime loyal users who have helped shape the community are overlooked, while new faces — some of whom the CEO previously dismissed — suddenly receive preferential treatment. Instead of uplifting the creators who’ve been consistently showing up, the platform seems to reward whoever benefits its bottom line at the moment. After everything I’ve invested into the app, it’s disheartening to see loyalty mean so little. Chatter Social had real potential to be something special, but until leadership values its dedicated community as much as its revenue streams, it’ll continue to lose the trust of the people who helped build it. ### 1/5 — Watch your privacy *2025-10-08, version 2.1.3* This app is dangerous. I do not use IG, and would NEVER use X, so have no way of requesting early access. I find this deceptive, a way to get names, emails and phone numbers. Deplorable. I see you responded by telling me what i already said. My complaint was that being in invite-only was NOT in the app descrip originally…. . ### 1/5 — Horrible App for Creators *2025-09-29* I was a fan of the app and brought my community over there and grew a fan base of over 1000 users. I was one of the only business channels there and supported the CEO since the start of the app. The app became full of drama, to include the CEO trying to decide who was a creator and who was not , tearing folks down, and cursing and insulting people on stage … the app was no longer a place I wanted to grow and build on…I loved the platform itself and decided to take a break until it cooled down… I put up one post in my community stating I was taking a break from the platform , the CEO banned me from making that statement … I asked the head of community what rule did I break from the community guidelines and she stated NON this was a Nelson decision … I’m only upset bc I also earned $400 from the app in which was “erased” and I was told o couldn’t get which breaks laws. The only reason I will not sue is bc it’s not worth it… the CEO states he does not want a toxic app when in fact he is the toxic CEO stirring a majority of the problems … many creators were coming over bc of me and now stay away due to the toxic nature of the app… 0/10 do not recommend… they will rob you of your money , and ban you , out of pure emotions without explanation… and there is NO AUDIENCE THERE… be warned … ### 5/5 — A year update *2025-09-12, version 2.1.3* I still love this app it’s still my favorite app it’s has all features I wanted who ever created this ❤️‍🔥 ### 5/5 — TRILLION *2025-08-28, version 2.1.2* Absolutely love this app! The audio cuts out when you open another app on your phone so you have to close the app, or leave the room and rejoin (you don't have to do that with club house). Also, the audience is a small break away group from club house and its cliquey. This clique give moderation to stupid, easily offended people to moderate speech. The other bad thing about this clique is that they all backstab and trash talk each other. App is always glitchy. Rooms can't handle more than 100 people. Claims to be in beta but there's nothing on the app indicating that it's in beta. They will ban your account for no reason, I asked for the reason in writing but all I got was a very rude and dismissive response from someone who is allegedly an agent of the company. Shake and report does not work and there is no other way to reach out to support other than very informally in a private chat. As long as gang violence is prevalent on here and there is not way to make reports I will maintain a 1 star. ### 1/5 — Not creator-first *2025-10-24, version 2.1.3* The app is extremely over priced and has very low members/engagement. They charge more than any other creator-driven app. You give 50% of your earnings up, have to pay a fee of $19.99/month to get paid, and then you have to pay taxes on these earnings when you receive a 1099 from Stripe. You have to wait 40 days to get paid from the day you earn. It’s just too much. You’re investing so much in this platform that hasn’t found any celebrities or big creators to boost it. Seems like they should be offering more to the creator as they need the creator to make this app happen. I think the app creator bit off more than he could chew and to stay afloat set the prices as follows. Due to a poor business plan this will fail just like Riff, Speakeasy, Fanbase, and many others with the wrong leadership. Advice: restructure this payout and price situation or you will fail. YOU NEED CREATORS. CREATORS DON’T NEED CHATTER. There’s no better place for groups. ### 5/5 — The Trifecta-Beautiful interface, impeccable sound, and monetization *2026-07-29, version 2.2.2* I’ve tried a lot of social apps, and Chatter stands out. The interface is clean, easy to use, and keeps getting better with every update. The audio quality is hands down the best I’ve experienced on a social audio platform—clear, reliable, and much better than the competition. As a creator, I’ve personally earned thousands of dollars on Chatter, which is something I can’t say about most platforms. What makes it even better is the community. People genuinely support creators, engage in meaningful conversations, and help each other grow instead of just chasing likes and views. If you’re looking for a platform with great discussions, excellent sound quality, and real opportunities for creators, Chatter is absolutely worth downloading.
