OVER $2,000 AND STILL NO REFUND *2026-08-11, version 4.283.0* I had an extremely frustrating experience with CheapOair involving two separate tickets totaling $2,006.11. My first ticket cost $840.88. The flight was cancelled due to weather, which was completely outside of my control. Because I still needed to travel, I purchased a SECOND ticket for $1,165.23 while I was already at the airport, approximately two hours before departure. Despite purchasing the ticket while at the airport and being ready to travel, I was not allowed to board. I was told that I needed to have been there three hours before departure. What makes this situation even worse is that I specifically paid extra for an option that was supposed to provide a FULL REFUND. Instead of honoring what I paid for and resolving the refund, I have been going back and forth with CheapOair, and they keep trying to convince me to book another ticket instead of properly resolving the money owed to me. I have now spent $2,006.11 on TWO tickets, did not get the travel I paid for, and I am still fighting to get my money back. This has been an exhausting and unacceptable experience. Based on my personal experience, I would NOT recommend CheapOair. If you decide to use them, carefully read every condition, save screenshots of what you purchase, keep every receipt, and document every conversation with customer service. CheapOair: I do not want another ticket. I want the refund I paid to be protected for. Our flights were canceled and delayed, and dealing with the booking issues was an absolute mess. After being loyal customers for more than a decade, we expected much better service. I would NOT recommend CheapOair. Save yourself the stress and frustration and book directly with the airline! And multiple times we have called they automatically hang it up. When I get to check out, it cancels my transaction & says “this flight is not available” yet it continues to appear in my search on the app as well as the browser. Everything looked as though I were booking the hotel I usually get for work but they switched it to a location 45 minutes away from where I needed for work. The customer service representatives are extremely rude , i booked a international flight , took the flight im in the international airport with a 22hr layover . I paid for a changeable ticket. When I first booked I spoke to a representative and he stated I could call in and change the flight . I tried doing so and the representative had none of my information and was becoming Irate with me because he could not confirm the address . When all of my information is within the app. Then I called back , spoke to a different representative , again extremely rude . She informed me I would have to pay and ADDITIONAL $438 to change my flight home.
