### 4/5 — Free Option

*2026-04-08*

I miss the free option…would make me so happy to use the app…but now I have to pay…

**Developer response:** Cheat Day has been free for the past 7 years, and we’re very grateful for your support. Unfortunately, the AI boom has significantly increased server costs, and inflation has made those expenses even harder to absorb, so we’ve had to move to a subscription model. Thank you for being part of this journey.

### 3/5 — Great Idea but overpriced.

*2026-03-21*

This is a great idea and is helpful. However, I liked it better when it was free. Several of the menus are outdated or have the wrong nutrition information when I compared them. Sorry but it’s not worth $20 a year to get accessible to old info. I’d rather pay $20 for a lifetime subscription.

### 4/5 — Great app!

*2026-03-08*

Update: I wish the food was being updated.

Thank you for creating this app. It’s very helpful and you did a great job with it.

### 4/5 — Lifesaver!!

*2025-02-13*

Pls add options for different countries not everyone is American 🙏🙏

### 4/5 — I like it.

*2022-06-15*

It’s helpful, especially if you can’t find the official website. I don’t really trust if the calories and such are correct though because some titles of the foods are not currently being sold. Tim’s had like 5 wrong item that weren’t even sold but 2 were in other areas.

### 3/5 — Not accurate for UK fast food

*2021-10-18, version 1.3.1*

I’m pretty sure the calories are the US versions only, the calorie values are way more than the UK ones.

### 4/5 — wish it wasn’t so out of date

*2021-07-22, version 1.3.1*

this app has been so so so so helpful, but half the time i open the restaurant’s menu, it’s filled with old and discontinued items, and the more new ones are nowhere to be found. when the restaurant hasn’t made many recent changes, it’s perfect though

### 5/5 — amazing

*2020-12-17, version 1.3.1*

why does this app not have more downloads? it’s literally a life saver, i will kiss whoever created this app

### 5/5 — Yeah💕

*2020-08-18, version 1.3.1*

Omg sooo usefull idk why it has bad reviews. Defoo recommend

### 5/5 — Great App!!!

*2020-07-05, version 1.3.1*

This app is sooo helpful and has a good variety of restaurants on it!

### 3/5 — Accuracy

*2020-06-29*

The numbers are a bit off from the app and the nutrition labels online available from the restaurants. They vary from 1-4 more or less than the restaurants I have compared to. I still can appreciate this app though, but I can’t solely rely on the app for accurate numbers to track.

### 1/5 — Why am i punished by capitalism?

*2026-07-24*

i’ve had this app since it was just a big file of all of the different calorie options at restaurants. I used it religiously. The app was free there was no subscription. It was glorious. Now after an update all of it is gone. I’ve been here since the beginning now i can’t use the app cause the owners wanna make a buck hell no.

### 1/5 — Not a free app anymore

*2026-05-20*

Downloaded the app after reading some reviews saying the app was completely free…IT IS NOT FREE! It is free for the first 30 days and then you pay $25 a year.

Granted, it’s not a bad price to pay if it works the way they claim but it would’ve been nice to know upfront vs after I’ve already downloaded the app.

I will be deleting the app solely based on the bait and switch.

### 1/5 — Used to be amazing

*2026-04-14*

I have had this app for about 3 years, and their new version where it makes you pay just because it’s “personalized” is ridiculous. This was something I would use just to quickly make choices about what to eat and helped me lose weight! Now I can’t use it bc they’ve gotten greedy. Stupid.

### 1/5 — Used to be free, now it is not

*2026-03-29*

I understand needing to profit, however a subscription is not the way. Make me watch ads, create a “no ads” purchase option, create an OPTIONAL subscription that comes with a lot of benefits. Forcing your users to pay for something they’ve used for free for years is a great way to kill your app.

### 1/5 — Used to be free

*2026-03-18*

This app used to be free now when I updated there is no more free version. You have to pay now. I didn't see anything listed in what's new about this going to a paid only app. Very unfortunate now I'll have to uninstall it, but at least there are other apps out there that offer the same for free.

**Developer response:** Cheat Day has been free for the past 7 years, and we’re very grateful for your support. To keep up with rising server costs in the age of AI, we’re transitioning to a subscription model. Thank you for being part of this journey.

### 1/5 — Incorrect

*2025-09-23, version 1.3.1*

Very incorrect information.

### 1/5 — Won't open

*2025-08-02, version 1.3.1*

I can't get it to open! ??

### 1/5 — Not very accurate

*2023-05-29, version 1.3.1*

Compare the app info and the actual Resturant nutrition data and they are not even close on many of the items.

### 1/5 — inaccurate calories / macros

*2022-03-06, version 1.3.1*

the calories are really inaccurate for example the medium mcdonalds fries are 380 calories while the official mcdonalds nutrient pdf says that the medium mcdonalds fries are 737 calories

### 1/5 — US only

*2019-10-30, version 1.3.1*

No point downloading if you are in the UK
