Ex. Corn pops, vegetable thins and taco shells. ### 2/5 — Contradictions?! *2014-08-29, version 2.1* I was so excited to see this app and so I downloaded it and since I was in whole foods having dinner I figured I would test it out. I scanned a few yogurts and a few cereals. Two of the cereals that have been NON GMO VERIFIED came up as having gmo. Now I don't know which to believe. I would hope for consistency in. This app and the non gmo verify project which I'm used to counting on ### 1/5 — Total rip off *2014-07-10, version 2.0* I would have given this no stars but that's not an option unfortunately. The very first time I attempted to scan a barcode it stated that I has reached my limit of 10. They just want you to pay to upgrade before even trying the app. Such a disappointment since it could have been very useful. ### 1/5 — Don't waste your time *2014-07-09, version 2.0* First off you HAVE to register just to get started. Then after scanning a item it always says "item not verified" & when you try too verify it tells you that you've reached your limit of 10 verifications. Apparently I've reached my limit even tho it's was my first time using the app. My opinion it's just a scam to get your email & for your money. Like my title says! If this app happens to actually recognize something such as "general mills" or "quaker" (which it can't,) it just freezes non stop. And you can't get out of it until it fixes itself. Enter the name of the brand and a pop up told me I needed to enter a product name to. Did that and was told that my trial was over and need to buy the pro version. It has completely changed the way I look at food altogether. The barcode scanner works great at the grocery store by identifying anything that contains GMO. This helps me make better food and meal choices everyday. I have way more energy and feel so much healthier! Thanks "Check GMO" for providing such a useful tool that has greatly contributed to my newfound well being! ### 5/5 — My favorite *2014-05-25, version 1.9* This is my favorite app to check GMOs. It just needs to build the database a little bit more, but I am sure it will come with time. It lets you submit new codes if it doesn't already have them in its database. It is the simplest and most straightforward app I have found. Well worth a 2 dollar donation! Many Thanks to the maker of this app!!! I use it almost every day! I tried it in my local grocery store, picking up items I thought wouldn't be listed but to my surprise, a result came back. Definitely gonna be using this app each trip to the grocery store.
