## What is Check In Together?

Check In Together is for people who live alone — and the people who love
  them.

  You set a schedule. Maybe a morning check-in, maybe two a day. At each
  scheduled time, the app asks if you're doing okay. Tap to answer. Done.

  If you miss a check-in, the app reminds you again. And again. If you still
  don't answer after the time you've chosen — an hour, six hours, a day — the
  people you've designated as emergency contacts get an SMS letting them know
  you missed your check-ins.

  That's it. No one is watching you. The only time anyone hears anything is
  when you needed help and didn't have to ask.

  WHY USE IT
  - Living alone shouldn't mean being unaccounted for.
  - A missed morning shouldn't have to wait until someone happens to think of
  you.
  - You decide who's contacted, when they're contacted, and how often you
  check in.

  HOW IT WORKS
  1. Sign up. Set when you'd like check-ins (any frequency, any time).
  2. Add an emergency contact. They get a one-time SMS asking them to opt in.
  Until they reply YES, no alerts will be sent.
  3. At each scheduled check-in, the app asks a few questions you've chosen.
  4. Miss one? You'll be reminded again. Miss enough? Your contacts are
  notified by text.
