It is easy to use, shows both sides of the coin, provides mintage figures and for a very low price of £4 A YEAR it will tell you the price of both new and circulated coins and a total for your collection. I say it is almost perfect because it doesn’t include British coins from territories such as the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey etc. this is annoying for me as I collect 50p’s primarily and these places have some great designs but I can’t put them in my favourite app. All things considered, best option on the App Store and regularly updated so I remain hopeful the developers have plans to expand slightly and include all the British coins, not just mainland. ### 3/5 — Renewing subscription *2023-06-06, version 1.29.0* My sun gets renewed automatically. However the past two years it took money out of my account but didn’t renew. I had to resubscribe to get it again. So much useful information and great that you track the coins you have and don’t have. Deffo great value for the full version. So handy having rough values for coins. ### 4/5 — Useful but not comprehensive *2022-12-17, version 1.25.0* This is a useful app for recording some of the coins collected. It’s let down by missing a few. For example, the £5 coins aren’t uptodate. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No Save Progress? *2026-01-31, version 1.43.0* The app looks nice visually and the coin valuation feature is fine, but the lack of a “Save Progress” / cloud backup makes it practically useless — especially for a paid subscription (£3.99/year). There is no account system, no cloud sync, no backup, no restore option. If you delete the app, reinstall it, change your phone, or your phone is lost or stolen — everything is permanently gone. All the time spent manually entering coins is wasted, and you are forced to start from zero. This is basic functionality that almost every modern app provides, especially one that stores user-created data and charges money. Without progress saving, the app is unreliable and unsafe for long-term use. Coin collections often take hours or months to build — losing all data instantly is unacceptable. A subscription app without data persistence is poor design and very disappointing. Coins missing… I get it is free on the level I am using but getting the basics right should be a basement requirement. I paid for the premium version because it won’t let you do much otherwise. Once I had paid for the premium and went into the app it wouldn’t let me do anything.
