You have to take a picture of certain parts of the shoe/clothes or accessories. Then you have to choose whether you want them to have a limit of 15 minutes (which I’m sure would give a less accurate check) and 30 minutes (which would be a better check). I purchased credits before the app was updated and was never made clearly aware at the time that my unused credits would expire after 24 months. I later discovered that the credits I had paid for had simply disappeared from my account. I contacted customer support hoping they would offer a reasonable solution, such as reinstating the credits or providing a partial refund, but unfortunately they were unwilling to find any middle ground. Based on my experience, I can no longer recommend CheckCheck. There are alternative authentication services available, and I would personally recommend looking into LegitApp instead. I’ll be using other services going forward. ⭐ 1/5 ### 1/5 — Never enough photos *2026-07-13, version 4.4.9* Tried the free trial… thankfully I didn’t purchase. It wasn’t able to authenticate anything. Kept requesting more photos after 2 separate uploads. I uploaded almost 20 photos of purses inside & out. There were no other photos I could have even uploaded. 👎🏻 ### 1/5 — Trying the free version *2026-07-06, version 4.4.8* Trialing this and I’ve submitted additional photos and they keep coming back asking for additional photos. Unsure if this is a glitch or what but I’ve submitted so many. If it needs to be a particular image, they need to specify - ie; back or front. I’ve uploaded heaps more inside what to do. Images that do not pertain to the item I was checking were demanded. And despite uploading images of the Gucci serial number stamp , to proceed I had to confirm the item had NO serial number and such. Utterly ridiculous. They will fail you just because they feel like it. This is even though other more knowledgeable authenticators have passed you.
