They didn’t send a cab until 6:40. Then the app indicates the car that picked it up was 3 minutes away. I can tell from the map he is 15 minutes away. So the cab showed up 10 minutes late. I might as well have booked an Uber and saved the money. ### 1/5 — I love updates that erase all data *2023-01-18, version 6.4.0* I have spent far to long trying to recover my password as I was forced to update but after the update my profile data is gone. Now that I have the new app it will not link with my saved passwords (apple iphone) and because I use very secure passwords I rely on copy and paste to input the password but that is not an option. So I would need to manually transpose a 20 character complex password. Terrible. Skip this app and use Uber. Checker is not even trying to keep up anymore. ### 1/5 — Can’t even login *2022-12-18, version 6.4.0* Reset my password 3 times and still couldn’t successfully login. Thought I’d try booking a cab vs Uber for the first time in a long time and unable to login after 3 times I got frustrated and went back to Uber for a ride home. ### 1/5 — Just try the app when it’s a busy period. I dare you *2022-12-06, version 6.4.0* The app is OK for when you could use a ride but it’s not really something important or of a timely nature and when it’s not busy. BUT - if you are relying on booking a cab for something important through this app, forget it. When you “book”, you’re not really booking. A driver has to accept it still, and it seems the app falls behind on that. It was over 25 minutes before our booking was accepted by a driver, while we watched other people flagging taxis of the same company just up the street, cabs who were clearly needing fares but somehow didn’t get our “booking”. Then finally our booking was accepted, and shortly after it showed that WE were also picked up - which we weren’t. That has got to be at least the third time I’ve booking through this app where I have supposedly been picked up when I wasn’t - meaning they had taken on somebody else not even close to where we were at.What’s the point of booking a taxi if they don’t even verify who’s getting in and where? The last time that happened I was stuck in the snow in -22° weather with an eight-year-old boy after a hockey game. And after two bookings through This app PLUS by phone to Checker - bookings that never materialized or appeared, we were forced to take a limo. An hour later. I give up on this company. They clearly don’t have the urgency to want to keep viable against companies like Uber. Never pick from the actual location. Don't even get me started on the most pathetic customer support on the planet. If there was a possibility, would have given negative rating. He brought us to banff the next day and was a gentlemen. He explained to us a lot of things about Calgary. He accepted to pick us up 6 days later in banff to bring us back to the city.
