## What is Checkers Twist?

A turn-based strategy game, Checkers Twist is a variant of the checkers board game, where the board is irregular and procedurally generated, offering new tactics each game.

You can play either:
- 1 player again a bot
- or 2 players on the same device


## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.9 — 2024-05-07

This version has the following changes
- the bot is stronger.
- you can change the board's look from wood to also minimalist and muted.
- and most importantly, when you can capture an opponent's pawn, you have to capture. This is a rule in checkers that I had overlooked in the first release. It really adds a good strategic layer, as you can force your opponent into bad moves.
