## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-04-11

Deep in the neon-lit valleys of the Chess Fantasy Realm, where rainbow unicorns gallop across boards of light and electro robots hum ancient gambits, a new age of style has arrived.

The Grand Council of Mechanical Knights, clad in robes of violet light, has convened to unveil the Great Schism of Themes. Two paths now stretch before every traveller: the blazing
Neon path, crackling with electric purple glow, and the serene Standard path, crisp and calm as moonlit marble. Choose your allegiance. The realm remembers your choice.

The pieces themselves have been reborn. A legendary artisan known only as ChessCuernavaca forged new glyphs in a distant forge, and now every knight, bishop, and queen strides across
the board with renewed presence and clarity. White pieces glow as they should. Black pieces loom as they must. No piece shall be mistaken for another.

Venture into the realm's inner sanctum — the Credits scroll — and find the names of those whose craft makes the magic possible: ChessKit, guardian of rules and moves, and
ChessCuernavaca, sculptor of pieces.

And throughout the realm, a deep violet hue now flows — through buttons, through menus, through the quiet glow of navigation — a colour chosen by the Council to mark this new era with
unmistakable elegance.

The realm is more beautiful now. More expressive. More itself. And somewhere on the horizon, a rainbow unicorn rears up against a sky full of electric stars, ready for your next move.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-03-17

Deep in the neon-lit valleys of the Chess Fantasy Realm, where rainbow unicorns gallop across boards of light and electro robots hum ancient gambits, a new era has dawned.

The Grand Council of Mechanical Knights gathered beneath the flickering aurora to announce a decree: the realm shall be fortified from within. No glitch shall pass unnoticed, no broken move shall reach a player's hand.

Meanwhile, in the underground testing forges, an army of tireless robot scribes has been assembled. They replay thousands of games each night, checking every checkmate, every stalemate, every promotion, so that when you sit down to play, the magic just works. You will never see them, but they are always watching, always verifying, always making sure your next move lands exactly as it should.

The realm is stronger now. More reliable. More welcoming. And somewhere on the horizon, a rainbow unicorn rears up against a sky full of electric stars, ready for your next move.
