## What is CheckmyID?

CheckmyID works as an authenticator for Validex (www.validex.com.au), providing the simplest, safest, and fastest online way to scan and validate your identity documents for an application for a National Police Check in Australia through the Validex service.
Using your mobile device, you can securely upload your identity documents, take a live selfie, and have your documents verified — all from the convenience of your phone. No need to visit a post office or other location for in-person verification; the entire process is completed online, putting control over your identity documents in the palm of your hand.
CheckmyID ensures your identity documents meet the strict verification requirements for an Australian Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (commonly known as a Police Check) mandated by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC).
When you choose www.validex.com.au to apply for your police check, CheckmyID streamlines the verification process, making it faster, more secure, and more convenient than traditional methods like emailing documents or attending in-person appointments.
