Went to login today and couldn’t. So came to the app page to see if others were reporting problems in the reviews cause people tend to do that and THAT’S how I find out ya’ll had shut down. You even posted an update 2 months ago claiming to be sending out updates? Where? Not to emails or phone numbers! Ridiculous! This is NOT professional and not a good way to end things. There are plenty of banks out there nowadays. So these banks really had to step up their gameIn order to get people to use their bank. For instants they were doing a you sign up bonus. The entire reason why I signed up was for that bonus. And guess what I didn’t even get the bonus. I started the process before the referral program and bonus ended. they ran out of money. So anyone who did sign up for that bonus won’t get it if The money wasn’t deposited before the end date. Which we all know deposits can take multiple days even weeks. Personally it took over nine days for the money to move from one account to the Cheese account! Is that my fault no it’s the banks fault I emailed them all my information and basically all they said was sorry about your luck. I did download the app and get all signed up with the bank before this promotion ended . I did it before it ended! This $45 was too help my family so much. I was basically depending on the money I never got it so it really screwed me over. As well as, they have been making them worth less and less every day. It was $70 to refer someone and now within a day they made it $0 I’m assuming because they got called out for not paying out the bonuses. Other than the false promises seems like a decent banking app. Although there are several typos throughout the app that make me question it’s legitimacy **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. I sent emails and I called countless times to a number that no longer has service but it still offered by the company!!!! There's no way to make a manual payment. You have to contact the customer service to have them make it available. I figured all this out after they said I missed a payment way back in November but I'm up-to-date on all the rest of my payments before and after this point!!!!! The representatives are super unprofessional, and overall the app is just terrible and can harm your credit more than it can help!!!!!!!!! Please listen when I say this cause I've contacted these people for weeks through email and they stopped contacting me back after the representative wasn't able to tell me how my payment was missed !!!!!!!!!! Would give 0stars ### 1/5 — Warning warning warning - bait and switch *2023-05-16* Do not do business with this organization. I tried to cancel the service, which the convenient make difficult to find and the next day they charged my account. Nothing worse then unscrupulous people. If you had the same experience, please join me in reporting them to the CFPB, your state attorney general and any other government entity that will penalize preying businesses such as this one. They declined my deposit twice with no reason, I emailed them three times and I still can get any response, who would use a bank that can't give you a normal deposit service? This bank just a joke. First of all you have Zero phone support you cannot effectively support bank issues via email. You literally never answer the phone or return calls! Secondly your deposit times for transfers is atrocious, I did a cash app instant transfer and it took 3 days!!! I thought my $ had been lost. I provided information from cash app to track down the deposit and your only customer service person (wont say her name) tells me the funds never arrived there is nothing that can be done. Wth kind of response is that to a bank customer? Look on your Facebook page people are constantly saying their $$ never deposited or their payroll was never posted. Submitted application for Cheese in late December, then Jan 9th got an email saying I needed to submit proof of address and so I did, they said it would take 3-5 days for them to review it, here I am a month later still waiting. What kind of bank does this to prospective customers? Extremely frustrating. ### 1/5 — Be Careful… *2021-11-16, version 1.4.88* Do what I did and take a real good look through these reviews before you dive into this app… Almost every review on here has 5 stars and a funky first & last name. The only REAL reviews on here all have 1 star and all complain about the exact same things: The app freezing after logging in, and the developers locking your account for absolutely no reason after transferring your money into it. Thank goodness I look through reviews before downloading something. Even their BBB page had someone complaining about these developers screwing them over. I never even downloaded this app and I am disgusted. The next day i couldn’t sign in. I contacted customer service to assist me with this issue. Their response: “Based on a recent review of your account, we’re no longer able to service your account. The decision was made after thoughtful consideration and is final. We apologize for any inconvenience. Why would this happen when i just opened the account and i had funds on there. All of my friends tell me that a good credit score will save a lot of money by getting a better mortgage rate. Due to bad spending budgeting and habits in the last two years, my credit score was down to 692! Improving my score became my new year resolution of 2023. As a Cheese debit card user, I trust this company for its customer support and product. So, I registered my Credit Builder account as soon as I got the email invitation. The registration process took only 3 minutes and I got the credit builder loan. Today, I found my credit score increased by 58 points both on Equifax and TransUnion. It only took 45 days and my credit score is 750 now!!! And, I don’t even need to do anything after connecting my bank and it automatically put my monthly payment as my saving. I wanted to build my credit because I planned to buy a car in a few months. And I learned that if my credit score get higher I could get a better interest rate for car loans. That’s why I started to look for some credit building products. I only had a credit card and totally new in credit building, I came across this Cheese credit builder and surprised to know that by using it I would be able to build up my savings at the same time. Since the second month I started to use it, I saw my credit score increase a few points each month. After that, I don’t need to do anything, just make sure I have enough funds in my account for them to “save”, then my credit will gradually increase! Perfect for a lazy person like me! I had money stolen from my account, recently for the second time. Cheese has horrible security and worse customer support and to add insult to injury the thief added themselves to my contacts in my cheese account and I can’t delete them! I contacted support on several occasions and their response was we can’t dispute transfers, even though I received an email after the thief stole money from my account which stated from Cheese: If you did not authorize this transaction use the link below for support and that’s just what I did, only to be ignored and receive no support or resolution. My account was hacked I had not used the person to person transfer but once in over a year to my husband no other person to person transactions. Now Cheese offers direct deposit DON’T DO IT!!!!
