It's nice to be able to write your own recipes AND search for others if you need inspiration. The layout is actually nice-looking and well thought out. It's just that the text editor drives me up a wall sometimes. Yes, it works well for typing out recipes, but trying to edit becomes frustrating very quickly. I mean, it can be done; however, trying to hit that certain spot to fix that one typo is nearly impossible. The app likes to pull you out of editing mode too quickly and will not let you press and hold to magnify and get to the spot that you need to fix. Plus, copying and pasting is a nightmare. I've got old recipes saved to my notes, you know? It's a fantastic start to a good app, but I'd love to see an update fixing that pesky little bug. ### 4/5 — Recipe shopping app *2015-09-12* Decent app so far, good functioning between recipe, shopping list. Easy to use. Wish it had capability to print recipe directly. Where it fail is the grocery list feature. There doesn't appear to be a way to organize the list or for the list to group similar ingredients from multiple recipes. It's not very useful if when I'm grocery shopping I have to scroll through the whole list every time since "bananas" is there multiple times or I won't get the appropriate amount. Other apps will take similar ingredients and list them once, adding them up for you. This app would be great with a more functional grocery list! ### 3/5 — Was a great app *2017-10-02* Was an easy to use App and i used it to log my homemade DIY recipes of all sorts and loved it but, can no longer add a saved photo for recipe (even though app has permission to my photo albums) nor can we take a photo with camera (has permission to do so as well, it opens camera but, screen is black so can't take pic of finished recipe). Guessing it is time to transfer recipes to another app even though didn't much care for others.. ### 3/5 — Photo library broken *2017-09-26* Are you ever going to fix the photo library? Loved the app but during one of your last updates, I'm no longer able to insert a picture stored on my iphone or iCloud. Also, there was no option to add or share personal recipes. ### 3/5 — Has potential........ *2015-06-14* I love this app however it keeps crashing and has minor flaws that get annoying after a while. Like for some reason I click to have ingredients taken off my grocery list but they won't come off. May be my Wifi problem, not sure. Cute icon too. Would be helpful if they offered substitution ingredient options for butter and eggs though, but I found them easily online. Contacted the Dev and they delivered on promised fixes…early! If you're going to be doing a lot of adding of recipes manually, this app is the easiest and quickest way I've found. The formatting is automatic, but you've actually got a lot of flexibility, too.
