One device is just for one account. No one knows when the public sessions are. And as for soft play!! So an 18 month old baby needs her own membership so that a soft play session can be booked. For a start the physical membership card does not have your membership number detailed on it. The app doesn’t let you discover or confirm what your membership number is. So if you forget your membership id you essentially cannot use the app ever again unless you phone to find out what it is. It does however let you reset your password for the membership number you no longer know. The list of all swim sessions is incredibly basic and it crashes every time you try to book. ### 1/5 — Poor app *2021-11-10, version 4.76* First ever review, forced by such a rubbish app. Don’t bother. ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2021-09-11, version 4.76* I agree with the improvements suggested by other reviewers and I need to be able to add my children’s membership accounts to my app so I can book all our sessions without having to log out and log back in on another account number. ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work *2021-06-30, version 4.76* I’m a new member to Riverside and was delighted with this app when I first downloaded it. Used it a few times and then it crashed with ‘service unreachable’ messages when I try to view classes or manage my bookings. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling but same problem. I now have to book and manage all my classes on my PC - really really annoying. I’ve frozen the membership at my previous gym to try riverside for a month but this is putting me off of switching permanently. ### 1/5 — No creche booking system *2020-07-24, version 4.55* Really need the creche booking system on the app as it makes the app pointless for parents if you have to then go onto the website to book a creche slot. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Appallingly Bad *2026-06-22, version 110.14* Their website doesn’t work so this app is the only way to book swimming. They don’t use Apple Pay and there’s no way to save your card details so paying for bookings is an amateurish pain. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work says unreachable *2025-02-09, version 106.71* For some reason as others have said below on my phone the app just says service unreachable. Even deleting and reinstalling doesn’t help. ### 1/5 — Problematic *2024-09-06, version 106.71* Impossible to register as menus fail over mobiles, make it easier to register and login please and also show age restrictions on sessions if adults must be present, saves a call. Also, what is Ice Patch? Lovely staff. Worst booking system ever. So tricky to navigate. I’ve booked a lot of things online, and their app & website are simply the worst. Such a shame as if we had any other ice rink option- we’d go there. This is typical council obstruction of what should be an easy processes which only drives people away from its facilities. It has taken me and my wife 45 min to sign up and book a swimming session. Do better. Slots when pool is not open for public swimming should be listed so people can easily see when the pool is not available to use. Have tried uninstall/reinstall etc. Tested on iPhone (iOS 16) and loads okay. Unable to locate support email address for developer. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — Happy at SWF Leisure Centre *2022-05-17, version 5.94* I joined the SWF Leisure Centre about a month ago, April 2022 and absolutely love it. I wanted to shake up my own exercise routine a bit. Really enjoying the aqua aerobics and yoga classes. The teachers are very professional, and mindful of letting you go at your own pace. I attend 3 classes a week and I am already feeling fitter! One thing, i don’t really like how you can’t see how many people are on the waiting list for each session.
