I have to check it myself 2.sometimes it is late so once I’ve already heard it then I see it 3.it says it has notifications but I don’t get them and I’m sure others don’t aswell 4. With the notifications it would be better if every time they update it so there’s more information I get notifications. Another update 5. We’re about to play the second game of the 2024 season and the team players who have left the team are still listed on the roster. In fact, the fixtures list for the current season doesn’t exist. The view points are more at the fan level and appreciated by many! However, the other pages such as results and players doesn’t get updated quickly so provides dated and misleading information. But shows news which is old without freshly changing with new news stories. Also covers good and bad not just the carefully filtered releases by the club. Having said that I feel like we get bashed enough in the media and I’m not sure all the more clickbaity, Chelsea trashing, not validated rumours need to be included. The spelling mistakes and sometimes atrocious grammar gives that away. Also I find it infuriating to read sometimes as the opinions are similar to those you find down your local pub. For example, on a news story discussing Chelsea’s potential next manager in the summer, the author wrote: “He’s probably ready for his shot at a top club - if Chelsea can be considered that anymore” You mean the current premier league champions? There are various fickle comments like that in most stories. That being said, I give the app two stars because it is regularly updated and provides some bedtime reading! ### 2/5 — Comments negativity *2018-04-01* For a particular clubs app the false news and gossip, seems very negative. Even the player ratings seem like there written by a bias reporter. ### 3/5 — The editor needs help? Is he blue? *2018-03-14* The look n feel of the app is I would say 3 out of 5 but the pieces are from opinions rather than knowledge of the club. For example recent comparison of this team against the 2012 team that beat Barcelona?, only a few are better but most are equal & so states this team is better!. Errr...what about game experience & play time together does that count for anything?. Just no comparison!!! Among many other ill informed or poorly researched articles!. ### 3/5 — Not bad, but could be better *2017-11-07* ‘News’ is a loose term for this app. Lots of speculation, rehashing of other media etc but I guess they have space to fill. The quality of the writing and fact-checking needs to be vastly improved, but it’s not a bad source for an overview of Chelsea affairs. With a bit of tweaking it could be so much better. Maybe in time..... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — So much clickbait *2025-03-04, version 2.10* I used to like this app. I still read “Superfrank” articles, as he reports news and gets to the point. The worst by a mile is “Simon Phillips”. Writes 4-5 paragraphs of dribble, then addresses the headline (eventually) with often 1-2 small paragraphs. Often the headline is sensational to catch your attention, but delivers nothing. I may keep the app and just read “superfrank”.
