## What is ChemBioCalc?

ChemBioCalc Pro - Professional calculation suite for Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical, and Molecular Biology laboratories. Calculations are referenced to ICH Q2(R2), EMA M10, USP 621 and ICH Q1E.

### 1.7.1 — 2026-08-24

Your lab notebook now syncs across devices, and you can see exactly what is being synced.

• On a free account your latest 20 notebook entries travel to all your devices. When you reach the limit the notebook screen tells you — nothing is deleted, those entries simply stay on this device. Pro syncs all of them.

• You can now save calculations on chembiocalc.com too and find them in your history on your phone.

Also improved measurement in the export flow.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-08-19

Two new lab tools:

• Buffer preparation — from your target pH and pKa it gives the acid/base ratio,
  both component concentrations and the masses to weigh. Henderson–Hasselbalch,
  with references. It warns you when you move away from the pKa, so a recipe with
  no buffering capacity is never presented as ready.

• HPLC mobile phase — works out the organic, buffer-stock and water volumes, and
  asks explicitly whether your buffer concentration refers to the total or the
  aqueous phase. At 60% organic that distinction is a 2.5-fold difference and is
  the most common reason a transferred method fails to reproduce.

Also: you can now restore your purchases directly from the subscription screen,
so moving to a new device brings your subscription back in one tap.

Your Pro subscription now works on the web too.

• Sign in under Settings, and the Pro calculators on chembiocalc.com open with the same account — no second purchase.
• Purchase problems no longer fail silently: you see what went wrong, with a clear way to retry or restore.
• Reliability fixes around price loading and subscription state.

Your lab notebook now syncs across devices — only with your permission.

• Optional account and cloud sync. Notes you wrote before signing in are never uploaded without asking you first — the app tells you how many records are affected and lets you decline.
• If the same note changed in two places, both versions are shown side by side and you choose which to keep. Nothing is overwritten silently.
• Experiment Assistant is now on the home screen: run a study step by step, from setup to report.
• Reaching the free notebook limit now shows your options instead of a dead end.
• Many calculation accuracy corrections across chemistry, pharmacy and molecular biology tools, each backed by a cited source.
• Fixes: missing labels on some screens, an ad icon that never appeared, and older notebook records that could break search and delete.
