## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Fix your App!

*2018-02-01*

The app keeps shutting down every time I try to use the converter! I bought this app to make converting more convenient, not less!

### 1/5 — Does not work beware

*2018-01-18, version 3.0.2*

Unit converter does not work as well as everything else!,
I want my money back!

### 1/5 — Was great but stopped working

*2018-01-07*

Was a great app for chemistry and engineering. I used to use this a lot at work. But it hasn’t been updated to be compatible with IOS 11, and it crashes now. Too bad, because I need something like it. Hope that someone can give it an update.

### 1/5 — Does not worth it

*2018-01-05*

My app doesn’t work properly👎🏻
When I use the converter section, it suddenly exits the app😑

### 1/5 — Trash

*2016-05-15, version 3.0.2*

This app is a joke. Built by a 5 year old. Not worth it

### 1/5 — Crashes like crazy on ios 7.x

*2015-02-28, version 3.0.1*

Open the app, do a few things... and then crash... poor update

### 1/5 — Nothing a decent chemical engineer shouldn't be able to do anyways

*2013-01-04, version 1.4*

The app is shiny, but it's full of information that's not difficult to come by, full of calculators that perform trivial calculations, and full of converters that any decent engineer should be able to perform in less time than it takes to load the app. As a previous review stated, it's concerning that the converter doesn't properly convert gallons to barrels correctly and that, for some reason 1 gallon doesn't equal exactly 8 pints. If simple unit conversions aren't executed correctly, how can this app be trusted?

### 2/5 — Conversion issue

*2012-12-30, version 1.4*

I'm no chemist but I do work chemicals quite often and have much need for conversions. First thing I noticed 30 seconds after downloading this app was that the barrel of oil conversion factor was grossly off the mark. Given I knew 42 gallons is equal to 1 barrel it put me off pretty quickly. I don't care to have to double check every conversion. It may not be the case but I tend to doubt other information in an app that can't even get the simple converter correct. Better luck in future versions.

### 2/5 — Units

*2012-11-26, version 1.3*

As long as you work in metric units, the application would rate at least 4 stars.

However, for more conventional units used in the Refining Industry, the application ends up using a mixture of units.

Hopefully, the unit problem will be fixed.

### 3/5 — Great start! But...

*2014-06-22, version 2.1*

This is a fantastic app. So many useful things in one place! But..I don't use heat capacity in SI. I need it in FPS. Please don't make me calculate it and then go convert it. Thank you!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best

*2024-08-04*

Excellent information

### 5/5 — Excelente ferramenta

*2022-10-27*

Otimo

### 5/5 — The only scientific calculator worth downloading

*2019-02-19*

Definitely the real deal...
They have an internal database of a ridiculous number of compounds and tools to calculate practical physical constants about said compounds. Plus a unit converter for every unit imaginable

### 5/5 — Very Handy

*2018-11-06*

I used this all through college as a student at The University of Alabama. Now that I’m out and have a job, I find myself still coming back to this app time and time again. It’s great, it’s free, and always very useful in and out of school. If you’re a chemical engineer, this is a must-have

### 5/5 — Conversion Tables

*2018-01-23*

This suite is excellent! I have used it several years for my chemical engineering calculations but lately, with the new Apple IOS versions, the conversion tables do not do their work. It will nice to have them performing again.

### 5/5 — A must have

*2017-06-16*

Anyone who didn't give this app 5 stars is probably a civil engineer

### 5/5 — Excellent super well done

*2017-06-03*

This is an excellent app on target on point very useful in the petrochem / Chem world. Compact pretty much a total solution app in one place. Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Outstanding App

*2017-03-15*

This app is fantastic for checking behind your calculations and making sure you are reading the right table, correctly.

### 5/5 — Really helps find answers quickly

*2016-02-12*

For getting a quick answer or playing "what ifs", this app works great. A setting to save imperial as a default would certainly be of help. Hoping the next update provides this. My industry is still stuck using imperial units rather than metric.

### 5/5 — I wish I found this freshman year

*2016-01-03*

This app has everything you could need studying chemical engineering. If you're studying chemical engineering, get it. Now. You'll thank this app for saving you from so many awful charts and paper cuts.
