Love the design. Only two issues: 1. I can't seem to get the audio to work even after installing the voices. 2. I'd love to be able to show both literal and deeper meaning in the widgets.

This is such a unique app idea - I couldn’t find any others that do anything like this! And you can even see all past idioms. This has also been great for my Japanese. I’ve been taking pictures of unfamiliar characters and searching them up. Occasionally, my “kanji scanner” can’t read a character because it’s written in an odd font, but I’ve still learned a ton of new characters!

This app does what is intended so perfectly. The interface looks good while being simple and intuitive. I appreciate the favorites list and the home screen widget.

I’m from Nigeria and have never spoken a word of mandarin. I’m about to meet my Chinese gf’s parents for the first time so planning on whipping some of these idioms out in the middle of dinner. It’s too easyyy
