We booked a service for the next day. It was so convenient, the tech was super sweet, and our nails were flawless! - Cherry isn’t in my area yet so I bought Cherry’s polish set and have done home mani’s since - love it! Lasts 2 weeks for me (normal is 3 days at best). Cherry’s polish is thick, smooth and finishes like glass. - I never make time to book salon appointments/drive to salon etc. So really hope this company blows up! Need this in the Pacific NW! - Until then, at least I have Cherry’s polish set ;) ### 1/5 — Nails chipped off the same day, very disappointed *2023-04-23* It was my first time using the app. With high expectation considering all the good review I’ve seen. However, it’s a total disappointment. My appointment was at 5:30pm. My nails chipped off the same night. It was a small part, so I didn’t think about it too much; the next day, two other nails have more peeled off or missing a piece… I’m on day 4 now, total 8 nails have small cracked or chipped. I decided to just ripped the nail polish off. I’m not sure how they manage their team and products/quality, but this is a next level. I have done many manicure in salon, never have I seen color chipped off the day of not even mention within two three weeks. The lady who came was nice and friendly, however, the quality is definitely an issue, and totally cannot compare with the salon. **Developer response:** Oops, looks like we chipped up this time! We're sorry to hear about your experience and offered to repair the nails, but we totally understand if you wanted to take matters into your own hands. While we're disappointed we didn't get the chance to address the issue, our thousands of five-star reviews speak to the quality of our work. Being able to have cherry technicians come to my house has been a blessing, and I also am incredibly picky when it comes to manicures and I was very happy with how it turned out! Powder nails and pedicure in my living room, and did I mention they look great ❤️ I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ### 2/5 — Cherry stands behind poor service *2022-08-06, version 3.05* I recently received a mani/pedi, one of many I’ve had through the service, and my technician did a very poor job painting my toenails, failing to provide an even coat on each layer resulting an a very bad chipped look to the nails. When I contacted Cherry with a pic an hour after the service when I noticed, they admitted it looked like the polish appears as if someone tried to remove polish but stated they would not provide a makeup tech nor a refund, implying that I was responsible for the poor paint job’s look. Very poor taste to basically call the customer a liar! **Developer response:** Fortunately, Cherry professionals take photos after every service in order to 1) confirm the appointment was completed, 2) verify which service was delivered, 3) document the service quality and 4) capture a proof of product prior to the professional departing. In this instance, the photo taken at the completion of the appointment by the professional displayed no issues (smudges, chips) etc. differing from the client's claim. Cherry provided these photos to the client and did not offer to refund the services based on the documented evidence, which was provided to the client. ### 1/5 — Just No *2022-06-24, version 3.05* I scheduled some services through the app, then had to cancel (well in advance). I didn’t receive a refund to my credit card; Cherry automatically refunded as credit for other Cherry services WITHOUT informing me this is what they were doing. I only found this out by contacting customer support, which was absolutely clueless. They took 30 minutes to answer a question that any other company could have answered in 5 minutes or less. Overall a very unprofessional and unpleasant experience Update: thanks for the rude response, Cherry. It’s just what I expected from you. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. Cherry's FAQs outline the expected customer support response time (within 48 hours / Mon - Sat.) and our cancellation policy; which states that funds are automatically added back as credit, and refunds can be requested. Unfortunately it’s frequent last minute cancellations, little notice, and little communication. I really wish communication was better in these situations so other plans could be made. I’ve used cherry off and on since 2018 and unfortunately have come to find cancellations or changes as common as when the appointments actually happen.
