I would definitely give it a 5 if some of these things were fixed. - make it so we can see the “g” on the g column. The lower part of the g is cut off and it looks like an a. - I play using the letters and numbers of the board so having those situated in a way where they would be visible even with pieces on the square would be immensely helpful. (Maybe put them outside of the board?) -I purchased this version of the game for my Mac for $2.99 expecting that I could switch from my iPhone and Mac and keep playing the same game but that is not the case. (Unless I have missed some cross compatibility sign-in somewhere). It’s not a big deal but it would be a nice feature for a paid app on Mac. Overall it’s a good basic chess app if you just want to play by yourself or with a friend. ### 3/5 — disapointed *2020-12-30, version 2.8.4* it looked great but sadly the hard version is quite easy to beat and although it looks great the movements dont feel good and the sound isnt good either. ### 4/5 — This is to correct for earlier reveiw *2020-11-21* I was frustrated by how 'easy' wasn't easy for me . . . though apparently too easy for other users. Ah, well . . . anyway, I also felt that the hints weren't helping much . . . so I vowed to give it one more try. You must have been reading my mail, as they used to say. I asked for a hint at just the right time, got mate, and was able to see how it was done . . . what I'd have missed, probably, on my own. Lorsque vous habitez à la campagne... les contacts de proximité wifi sont peu nombreux voire inexistants. La notice décrivant le jeu devrait informer l'acheteur. Cordialement ### 1/5 — Poor computer competition *2019-11-16* The computer vs one player is very weak regardless of setting. This app is okay for two player games but is of no value vs computer. It gives up the queen readily. **Developer response:** Thank your for your review. I even let the computer recommend all white moves and white still lost by 25 points. I didn't learn a thing other than the computer is smarter than I am. I'll continue to make improvements in subsequent updates. ### 1/5 — Am I doing something wrong or what? *2021-01-20* I just played my first game of chess on this app and played against a computer just to try it out. I tried to castle my king and rook and it would not let me. If there is no fix for this than this is a terrible app and should be fixed immediately. **Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear that you were having some issues with castling. To castle, you first must be legally allowed to castle, then you select the king followed by the square on the c or g rank.
