Chess: Knight Fever is chess with the volume turned up - full rules, a serious engine, zero stuffiness. Completely free: no ads, no subscriptions, everything unlocked.

Knight Fever gets a big, roomy redesign. Now you can rearrange your Home: drag the sections into any order you like, and pick up your last game right from the top. On iPad and Mac the app opens into a full dashboard instead of a narrow column, and Settings and History share the same clean new look.

Train has three new drills, Endgames, Coordinates, and Openings, plus a new Your Stats screen with a local rating, win streaks, achievements, and your results by color and opening. Choose your opponent's strength with the new Bot Ladder, and rank up on Game Center leaderboards.

Still completely free: no ads, no subscriptions, everything unlocked. Play across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

This update adds game sounds throughout: piece moves, captures, check, castling, promotions, wins, and low-time ticks, each style-matched to the Funk look, with a mute switch in Settings. Plus stability fixes and polish across every screen. Knight Fever stays completely free: no ads, no purchases, everything unlocked.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-06-30

Knight Fever is now completely free. We removed all ads and unlocked every feature for everyone, including Party Rooms and the on-device assistant. Same chess you love, now with nothing in the way. Plus, you can play the Endless (Mobius) variant over Wi-Fi, and the in-game controls got a fresh, chunky redesign.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-06-27

Endless goes multiplayer.
You can now play Endless — chess on a Möbius strip — against a friend over Wi-Fi. The board has no edges: slide a piece off one side and it returns on the other, flipped. Host a Wi-Fi Showdown, choose Endless, and you're both playing the twisted board live, move for move (moves that cross the seam are marked with an arrow). Flip to the draggable 3-D view anytime.

• Refreshed game-setup controls — game type, matchup, and 2D/3D view, now chunky and consistent on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

• Smoother, steadier Wi-Fi connections
