Erstmal möchte ich euch die angst nehmen! Lags, Fehler, falsche züge... alles nicht vorhanden. ich benutze ein Iphone 5 und Ipad Mini 2 und habe nach nun gut 1-2 Monaten täglichen nutzens keinen Fehler entdecken können. Ansonsten ist der Umfang erstaunlich! und besonders finde ich vorallem die veranstalteten turniere! also warum nur vier sterne? es gibt keinen cha troom... schreiben mit einzellnen kein problem aber ich würde mir einen gemeinschaftschat wünschen in dem man sich mit allen austauschen kann. ### 5/5 — My favorite online chess community *2015-01-28* I like the possibility to play online against the Shredder chess engine. First off The app never allows you to win regardless of what your rating Secondly when you're close to winning it will offer a draw or second option to decline the draw (which never works so you simply opt out to except the draw) however, when you except the draw the app just allows your time to run out and you lose anyway. I am a 2400 grand master and I never won one single game and it gave me a rating of 1300 and I still couldn't win a game the moves were so fast with no thought process whatsoever so it obviously was a computer don't waste your time downloading this app. ### 1/5 — Once great but not now *2016-03-13* This app is fantastic when it works. Unfortunately I am constantly getting disconnected during games now. My wifi is great and it's only this app that loses connection. I emailed support so if they fix it I will change to 5 stars. Cons: When playing a rated game online, the game looses connection and you and up loosing on time! The work around is to "kill" an app and then start it again. These way the app will reconnect. Some games I have to do it every 3-4 moves!!! Final thoughts: Please fix this bug!! You cannot use the app, doesn't matter how great it is!!! I will try and re-rate after the new update. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Chess at it’s best *2019-12-05* I must say that this is a truly great chess app for competitive and casual play. That in addition to great Shredder AI make this a great app. I do have a premium membership, which I will no longer continue. I’m not into blitz/bullet wars or restricted time limitations. I throughly enjoy correspondence chess and am having difficulty finding other players, who will accept challenges. Sure, I’m no reincarnation of Fischer but I don’t want to pay to wait around for a game. I hate having games aborted. It’s way too frequent. ### 5/5 — Chess club expanded *2019-03-19* This is a high quality app that features a smallish but dedicated community: think a chess club without the commute. To be sure it is harder for a casual player to get a fair game, but even being whupped by the serious players present will help with improvement. Games can be retrieved off screen in the standard setting. ### 5/5 — Beautiful chess app *2018-12-29* This is a great app. It is functionally simple yet capable and looks great. The Shredder chess engine’s creator is a well known chess engine and also the co-creator of the UCI chess interface, universally used for interfacing chess engines and GUIs. The cost of premium membership is reasonable, which allows you to download your games using their web interface. The web interface allows you to play from any browser and looks pretty much the same as this app and is functionally otherwise identical to this app. What is missing is an analysis link between games completed here and the other Shredder app by the same author. ### 5/5 — Chatnachrichten löschen? *2017-01-07* Kann mir jemand bitte verraten wie man die Chatnachrichten löscht? Vielen Dank (spiele auf einem Smartphone) ### 5/5 — Superb but in need of an update *2016-12-06* This is a superbly well thought out app but it has developed a couple of problems: 1) A few months ago latency increased considerably. I'm guessing the servers were moved to some new location, far away from the US west coast. 2) After I updated my iPad to iOS 10 the app has become unusable due to a 1-2 seconds latency after many moves. Annoying in a 5 mins game, impossible in 1-3 min games. PLEASE fix these problems so that this will again be the best online chess game on the planet. ### 5/5 — Super Programm *2016-10-24* Bin beeindruckt, wie gut ALLES funktioniert.
