## What is Chess P2P?

Chess P2P is a chess board for two people in the same place — and for the times you are on your own.

The two phones talk straight to each other over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth: no server, no account, no internet. With nobody next to you, tap Play the computer and the opponent is already in your phone.

Made for flights, cafés, trains, and anywhere the signal gives up.

PLAY THE COMPUTER — ON YOUR OWN, ANY TIME
• One tap opens a game, with no second device needed
• The engine thinks on the phone itself and sends nothing anywhere
• Turn on Auto play to hand your own side over and watch the game out
• Turn it off whenever you like and take your pieces back

PLAY THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU IN SECONDS
• One phone opens a room, the other taps its name
• No sign-up, no login, no waiting
• Rooms come pre-named; rename them if you like

A PROPER BOARD
• Tap a piece to see every legal move
• Pieces slide as they move
• Captured pieces fly off the board into a tray
• Check highlights both the king and the piece giving it
• Promotion asks which piece you want
• A clock for each side's total thinking time

PLAYING TOGETHER, NOT JUST AT THE SAME TIME
• See which piece your opponent has picked up
• Chat on the board, with the message above whoever said it
• One-tap phrases: "Your move!", "Check!", "Taking your time?"

REPLAY EVERY GAME
• Finished games are kept on your phone, including games against the computer
• Step through move by move, or play it back at 2x or 4x
• Capture the position and share it

A DROPPED LINK IS NOT A LOST GAME
Lock the screen or switch apps. The game is kept and the connection rebuilds itself when you come back.

ACTUALLY PRIVATE
No data collected. No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Moves go straight from one phone to the other and never leave the two of them.

Play the computer — no second device required any more. Tap Play the computer on the first screen and the board opens straight away. The engine runs on the phone itself and needs no connection of any kind.

Auto play — a new button beside the status bar. Turn it on and the engine takes your side of the game in progress; turn it off and your pieces are yours again. It works in games against a person too.

Games against the computer are saved to your history and can be replayed like any other game.
