Downside is. You only get 10 minutes playing strangers online. I purchased the full version in the hope this could be changed but it can’t. For me £12 to just get unlimited daily puzzles is very hefty l. Luckily, Apple refunded my purchase. @ChessHold. If you are able to add more options to increase online game play and add an option for an individual move timers. Supposed to be actual people online but I’ve noticed a lot not robot players. ### 1/5 — definitely a lot of bots. *2026-05-12* Tonight alone I played a good amount of “users” of varying ratings and every single one was making highly accurate moves in milliseconds. It is obviously not natural gameplay especially for game after game of low rated players 😂 Im around 1700 so I deleted the app and redownloaded to see if my suspicions were right and yea for every single game to have each player make every single move accurately in split seconds smells of bots. **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for the feedback, we just released an update that should fix this problem. Too much time to reconnect, let you open a web tab against computer to play the sames moves as your opponent. Don't have fast game (5:00 ultrafast game for example). Pros Working well on iphone and firestick. Can access stats and save game (haven't tried loading a game). ### 2/5 — Not Recommended *2021-01-29* This app has many glitches with AI pawns capturing mine, even when I move them two squares where they are past the attacked square. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback. That's actually called "en-passant" and it's a valid move, but it's one that not too many people know about. We frequently test the game against popular engines to make sure it doesn't make illegal moves. ### 3/5 — Needs timer *2025-07-28* Players are not timed on moves and will waste clock instead of moving pieces. This is especially prevalent when you have them in difficult positions. Game needs timed moves. Overall very fun to play against others from different nations, but the excessive cheating makes it annoying. But no ads makes up to an extent. ### 3/5 — Fun App *2024-09-24* Browser play is tough.
