Solving Chess puzzles is one of the best ways to learn and improve. You can play 7 puzzles for free daily. The notification(one per day) is to remind you to train can be easily turned off. The point system could be less brutal when you make a mistake. You could allow increasing the number of points based dinged based on number of mistakes. Nowadays, I use Lichess and Chess.com. This app has everything I love — clean and simple features, a clear improvement graph, and above all, the inclusion of FEN shows the developer’s attention to detail. I especially appreciate that there are no ads. After using it for a few more days, I plan to purchase it.
