He is nearly unbeatable if your character is melee and can get his combo burst off THE FIRST TURN so you can’t even move the entire game. **Developer response:** Hi SirWeenieMan, sorry for the frustration this caused. Haven’t hit a paywall yet so that’s good. 4 stars because I’m genuinely not sure if I’m playing against players or bots in the “PvP” arena. I have made it all the way to the last arena and I’ve enjoyed the grind, but now there’s no reward for playing. If you try and use a new hero, you’re punished for it since they start out so underpowered and there’s no way to increase their level aside from spending money. Now I’m trapped in a bracket where my choice is to either play characters I got tokens for that I don’t enjoy, or just get beaten over and over again until the fates decide to put a preferred characters token in the shop. Maybe they should be smaller, rounder, or altogether removed idk ### 4/5 — Fun but some hero’s need balancing. *2025-12-23, version 1.6.8* I have been playing since release, I believe most hero’s are balanced but some like Redow have no counters especially if you have a ranged hero. I think his anti range ability should be reduced to 2 turns at least. ### 2/5 — Fun at first *2025-12-13* Initially, I thought this game was great! Love the strategy and the different play styles. It very quickly turns into a pay to win situation when your level 7 hero is forced to compete with level 10 hero’s for game rewards. I enjoy strategy games that are decently paced and I feel this game has a good balance. I wish there was more variety with beginner level cards to make more diverse set decks and more opportunities to make strategic decks. Overall I can play the game for like 15 min tops… I wish they had more events and way to collect good items, maybe even new or special cards, make me grind and play more, I want more. ### 5/5 — Great potential really good early game balance *2025-11-11* Bro this game is fun with really good depth. Maybe the heroes (your king) need more health. A 2v2 mode would be elite. A few less cards to upgrade commons. With a few more minions to diversify play styles. I do like playing when I can get in to play tho. I would like to rate a high star but I can’t because of these isssues. ### 4/5 — It’s fun but… *2025-11-05* There are random connections issues, just trying to leave the app will cause my phone to freeze. Also everyone is running Darianne. She is so strong with her combos and how much damage she does. Game has a good foundation, it’s very tactical and has nice graphics and animations. Bad things. Massive bugs everywhere, constant disconnects, imbalanced cards, very slow progress rate. Most of the time devs respond with generic texts when I report a problem. Some things are straight up infuriating like latest event reward getting completely bugged and unclaimable. Or that cancer lanhoof hero completely dominating the high ranks (14 out of 15 top ranks) where he just basically auto wins if he goes first. And if he goes second he still auto wins. If this goes on much longer the game will be deserted Update: changing rating to 1 star. After “balance” patch Pia just wipes the whole board with attack + meteor shower and it costs her 1 ap. That plus discounted stun spell makes her unbeatable. I haven’t won a single game against her. Lanhoof still one shots towers. And after addressing this on their discord channel, their cm Armoderbear just deleted my post. I had enough of suffering and just quitting the game. Then 6 losses in a row dropped me to 400. Yeah not falling for this grind gameplay. Instead of playing once, it played four times in a row for me. You should know that this upsets potential customers, so they will never play your game. What impresses me the most is that there isn’t even a hint of micro transactions. No ads no money grabs, I literally looked everywhere and can’t find a way to pay for anything. Every day for no other reason than their appreciation of me playing their game I’m rewarded plenty of in game currency to steadily build my deck and level my cards. I rarely ever write a review for the games I play because all the feedback they need comes from my wallet. Here, I have to show gratitude for building a decent game that is fun, free and fair. That said I truly hope this free game stays free however I would suggest allowing donations, I would surely donate and would not even want in game rewards other than maybe skins to keep a fair balance in this game. I’m level 20 and I am enjoying the special events. Make more? Also, getting shards of cards but you can’t play the card is strange. Maybe make that part more clear. They will do this until you fatigue and choose to surrender causing you to lose your rank and the battle. Please look into this and remove it. Loads of characters, spells and minions to set up your deck. Multiplayer match up is balanced and the game mechanics make it a awesome new addition to the genre.
