I wish there was a program that could walk me through using verbal instructions various different moves and what they’re called, so I can apply them, and in the process become a better player. Because right now I’m stock at level 850, and I can’t seem to advance out of it. Very frustrating. And I find myself very angry with myself or at myself. 😡

I use this app regularly, and it works well. However, I’m a novice player, and have very little actual experience playing chess. That’s why I got this app, but it doesn’t do a great job explaining how a move is good or bad. I enjoy trying to figure things out on my own, but I have limited knowledge of the king’s game, and I desperately need more coaching than this app offers. So, good for skilled chess players who want an opponent when they can’t find a living one, bad for beginners trying to learn is my verdict.

I think that you have a pretty good game, but I didn't give you five stars because you also have some problems with your game. For instance,
1. When playing against computer you should be able to choose what level you want the computer to play at.
2. Also, the computer game is easy to switch to the opposite side, by pressing backspace an odd number.
3. When you want the volume all the way down, you can still hear it when you promote a pawn to a more powerful position.

Chess ratings for this paid version only go to class D novice the free version has a higher rated engine this paid program makes no sense..especially when it says it responds with grandmaster moves which ist novice or grand master.

Poorly described "lite" version. Buyer beware. Nowhere in the description does it say that the difficulty of opponent only goes up to 
beginners. My second grader quickly outgrew it. When I asked for exchange and credit to be applied to PRO, they denied that request. Don't waste your money on this version.

Decent program but poorly described lite version and customer service. App is more than just the program.

Gut ist das Layout und die Möglichkeit die das Programm bietet. Leider ist die Spielstärke sehr schwach - mein 7 Jahre alter Sohn hat bei 1200 Elo Punkten die App locker geschlagen. Und er ist ganz sicher kein Ausnahmetalent...

Das App ist per se über alles erhaben, richtig gut. 
Aber dass die Lite-Version nur bis 1200ELO spielt, wurde nirgends erwähnt. Jetzt muss ich die PRO Version kaufen. Das ist ärgerlich!

But if you are a good player wanting to improve your game by this companies 1 dollar app, it has 3600 historical games and can go up  to a 2000 elo, I feel that I wasted money on this because you can't even save a game,the difficulty isn't hard enough,and has less historical games. This app is more expensive than their other one!!!!!

I’ve recently been playing a lot of chess and on websites like chess.com you CAN’T get feedback on your moves or play against an ai for free, unlike chess lite. You can also access “key moves” which allows you to review which moves in a game you did right or wrong, FOR FREE!

This is a “must have” chess app! It will immediately improve your chess game! The options and selections are robust enough to suit any player and any playing style! Learning is greatly improved by a fantastic post-game analyzer! It could not be any easier to use! Compared to other beginning chess apps, this one is King in my opinion! My next chess app purchase will be Chess Tiger Pro! Thanks Chess Tiger Team!
