Terrible interface (no way to resign, or offer a draw - only way to escape from a game you no longer wish to continue is to swipe the screen off and disconnect) Also - as is the problem with most Chess apps on the Apple Store - liberal engine cheating and nothing you can do about it.

absolute garbage app. no option to change amount of time between turns. 30 seconds, always, no variation. no fun at all to play like that and only like that all the time. times up and the entire game is over. you lose. absurd. also, if playing as white, after castling king side, there are legal moves that the game simply won’t allow you to do. at least one legal option is always unavailable in this scenario. nonsense.

If you’re playing the computer good luck! I’m no pro at chess but I usually can beat a computer when the difficulty is set to moderate with this I haven’t won once lol!

No option to change 30 second timer means I’ll certainly be eliminating this app. When you get to the more difficult levels, 30 seconds is not enough. Too much time pressure means adios to an otherwise good app.

This game is only fun if you’re playing with an actual person. Otherwise, the computer you play against has so much skill, even at difficulty 3, that it will not even pretend like it’s human. In other words, you can’t win.
