Not great execution. It’s unnecessarily complex in its design. Also, the boards look very ordinary. A better looking board probably would have seen me move past the trial

On the boards: What would one you'd actually enjoy look like? Even "like the board in X" is enough to go on. Same for the complexity, whichever screen felt like too much would tell me a lot.

— Verpasst, dann korrigiert. Machst du einen Trainingszug falsch, stellt Chessful die Stellung zurück und übergibt dir das Brett. Die Sitzung wartet, bis du den richtigen Zug selbst gespielt hast.

— Importierte Partien bearbeiten oder löschen — samt Korrektur, welche Farbe du gespielt hast.
— Nach einem Import landest du in einer Partie, die auch wirklich analysiert wurde.
— Die Import-Zusammenfassung weist jede Partie aus, auch die, deren Analyse fehlgeschlagen ist.
— Das Schließen des Import-Fensters stoppt jetzt den Vorgang, statt ihn weiterlaufen zu lassen.

You said that being shown the right move isn't the same as playing it. So now you play it.

NEW — PLAY THE MOVE YOU MISSED

— Miss it, then fix it. Get a training move wrong and Chessful puts the position back and hands you the board. The session waits until you have played the right move yourself.

— "Try Again" on the ones you missed. Finish a session under 70% and the recap offers a re-drill of exactly the exercises you got wrong — and it doesn't cost a daily puzzle.

— More than one right answer. Puzzles now accept any move the engine rates as equally good, so an alternate mate is no longer marked wrong. Puzzles you already have get updated in the background.

— Puzzles built from your games carry their real pattern name instead of all reading "Missed Tactic".

PROGRESS YOU CAN TRUST

— Skill scores no longer drift down just because you keep playing. They measure how cleanly you play, weighted by how much Chessful has actually seen.

— Training now moves your skill bars. Insights refresh when you open the app instead of waiting for your next game analysis.

— Endgame and opening scores follow how often you really reach those phases, and a category with too little evidence reads "Not measured yet" instead of a number we can't stand behind.

IMPORTED GAMES

— Edit or delete an imported game, including correcting which side you played.
— After an import you land on a game that has actually been analyzed.
— The import summary accounts for every game, including any whose analysis failed.
— Closing the import sheet now stops the batch instead of leaving it running.
