Takeback request should be much much easier, coz the board incorrectly registers moves sometimes. 
Clock should be much bigger at least should be an option to chose a bigger clock. In a chess game clock is important… at least as important as watching my game on the board and the display at the same time. 
Chat possibility is completl disabled. If you play with a friend maybe you can chat with another app, but in this case you have to reconnect every time you switch back to the app. 

This app has been being developed for years and looks like a basic idea which was developed in a few days. 

Positive? You can play more or less, so not unusable, this is why not 1 star

I own the Millennium Exclusive board and the separate Chess Link module. They had no problem taking US Dollars nor selling it via stores in the USA. The new app looks like it should be very nice. But the user manual is written and presented only in German. Should I be mistaken and am somehow missing finding the English manual I will raise this review’s starsand apologize. Likewise, if a missing English manual is provided I will up the stars. For now it just seems like an epic fail for any English-only customer.

Due to developer response I have updated this to three stars. I still think that they need in the app to offer the English manual instead of depending on the English speaking customer to chase down a link. I will update this to five stars should that happen in an update.

### 3.1.1 — 2025-11-26

We have incorporated a local chess engine into this version. This allows you to:
- receive hints in 2-player mode
- play against the engine locally (without an internet connection). We have limited the engine so that you have a chance of winning.
- simply set up a position in “Free Analysis Mode” and change it freely. The engine immediately calculates the best sequence of moves and evaluates the position. This works similarly to the old “TASC R30/40 chess computer.”

### 3.0.0 — 2025-06-05

In addition to the LiChess mode, there is now also a 2-player mode.

Here you play against another person via your e-Board. The app only controls the moves and records the games (you can then distribute the PGN file using the cell phone share function). The clock display can be adjusted very flexibly, e.g. where the cell phone is positioned in relation to the board.

Do you have an interesting game but your opponent has lost on time? Then you can still continue the game in 2-player mode.

Withdrawals are very easy via your e-Board by switching on the withdrawal mode and then every previous position is counted as a withdrawal. So you can easily return to a previous position to try another move.

We have also introduced an option in the relatively new “Focus” mode (from the previous version) that simulates a real clock. Here you first have to press a button until your move is transmitted.

- Focus mode: Concentrate on the game! In this mode, your cell phone only displays the chess clock. If there are any differences between the board position and the position on LiChess, the cell phone briefly switches back to the board view.
- Chess960 mode: You can now also play Chess960 (Freestyle Chess) on LiChess.
- You can now also take part in tournaments if the starting line-up differs from the standard (themed tournaments)
