Chessmates is the easiest way to find chess players, meetups, and tournaments near you. Open the map, see who's playing this weekend, and just show up! Or post your own meetup in seconds and let people find you.

What's new in 1.1.1

• FIDE-rated tournaments. Toggle it on when creating an event — players verify their FIDE ID in seconds, and the right rating (standard, rapid, or blitz) is pulled automatically for seeding and standings. Organizers can also add walk-ins by FIDE ID and import pairings or full round results from Swiss-Manager via CSV.

• Tournament record on your profile. Finished events now show up as a history — see where you placed at every event you played.

• Faster events page, and you stay signed in when reopening the app.

• German translation completed across every screen, including the new FIDE flows.

Smaller fixes: organizer-added walk-ins now count toward player limits, registration deadlines can't fall after the event ends, "Running now" sits above "Later" in the events list, and a handful of RSVP and messaging bugs are squashed.
