About 1/3 if the time it says it’s a minor interval when it should say major and visa versa. I can’t use it anymore because I am forced to update to a newer app for an IOS my phone doesn’t support. A “recommend updating” app message and able to still use the app would be better. **Developer response:** Hey! Thanks for the feedback. On an older version of the app, we had a scoring bug that allowed users to get unrealistically high scores on the leaderboards. Because of this, we were forced to make all users update to the latest version. The app basically has one activity: you listen to a short melody and you play it back on the virtual piano. Although there are many other facets of ear training I think they have done a good job with the functionality of the app and by scaling the difficulty. **Developer response:** Thanks for using Chet! We have a variety of different styles of ear training included in our free app. The Path is geared towards beginners who want more guided study and the Library features collections of specific skills; intervals, chords, scales, progressions etc. We also have a Challenge section where you can test your knowledge of your skills and compete against others! This app is definitely for those who have some reference point in music, particularly pitch, but I wish I could disable the timer on the checkpoints. For one, the timer goes on even when the segment of the song is playing, not simply when you begin keying in the notes. More importantly, it makes it hard for me to actually train and revise. Such a model incentives me to remember the keys like a Mortal Kombat combo versus establishing my ear and giving me time to continuously hear the section and be graded on my ability to actually catch it by ear.
