## What is CHI St. Vincent PeriOp?

The CHI St. Vincent PeriOp™ app consolidates all relevant information at the patient’s fingertips in a personalized procedure guide. Some surgical procedures require multiple tasks to be completed prior to surgery such as lab draws, medications, or physician consults. 

PeriOp™ provides you step by step instructions about these tasks and positive feedback as tasks are completed. It allows for reminders and notifications on your mobile phone which you use every day. You can download an appointment to your calendar, and you can also learn about your procedure and understand how to prepare for going home. In addition, the app also provides logistical information like the facility address, what time to arrive, and who to call for assistance. With this digital guide, you will be back in action in no time…

PeriOp™ provides the CHI St. Vincent clinical team visibility to patient activity prior to and post-surgery. This enables healthcare providers to see the tasks patients have completed prior to a procedure so they can assist them as needed and ensure their surgery proceeds on time.
