### 4/5 — It works!

*2019-06-16, version 1.12*

I hardly ever have problems with the app. Finding a class at my favorite location takes less than a minute. One area of feedback I’d suggest when adding a class to calendar is including the address of the location in the “location” field and the studio number in “notes.” Sometimes I jump around from CACs out of convenience and forget which class is where.

### 3/5 — Locations

*2019-01-04, version 1.12*

It’s a pretty good app but there is no easy way to change locations. I actually can’t remember how to do it now, but have done it before. It would be most convenient to be able to choose in the “Find a Class” page to simply have a scroll option to choose which location you want.
Also, as others have mentioned, more info on the calendar notes - which location and studio.

### 4/5 — Useful so far

*2018-10-21, version 1.12*

I’m new to the club and app. So far I’m finding them useful

### 3/5 — Good but no more points?

*2018-07-19, version 1.12*

.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2018-07-10, version 1.12*

It’s overall a good app. I like recording my workouts and getting rewards. I wish there were more frequent challenges. I don’t like that if I record yesterday’s workout, it doesn’t register any rewards so I have to do it day of. I use it almost every day.

### 3/5 — Some glitches

*2018-06-29, version 1.12*

Overall this app has the information that I need, but there are some important glitches that need fixing.
1. When in the “find a class” section and you hit “Back”, it takes you back 2x (i.e. I selected an instructor and then a specific class of theirs and then hit “Back” it takes me back to the instructor list instead of the instructor I already clicked on’s list).
2. When you are viewing a class and click “add to calendar” it adds the class to my iCal, but missing some important details, such as the CAC location of the class. Studio 2 doesn’t help if I don’t know if I’m going to Bucktown or West Loop.

I assume these are easy fixes to an otherwise great app!

### 4/5 — App Review

*2018-04-12, version 1.12*

Joined the gym at the beginning of the year and the app allows me to navigate everything. I’m a “hands off” person and like to figure things out. This app does just that. Easy to navigate and understand

### 4/5 — Love to track

*2017-06-01, version 1.5*

My husband and I both have the app, but he doesn't use it much, which is weird since he's a gym rat. I love it! I love gaining points and seeing my progress. I appreciate that I can find a class and save it to my phone.

### 4/5 — I like it

*2017-04-12, version 1.5*

This app is pretty ok

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2017-01-19, version 1.5*

Great way to find classes.

### 4/5 — Useful app

*2017-01-15, version 1.5*

More than I would expect from a local gym app. Its convenient and I love the points system that helps encourage my gym routine. It's still a bit rough around the edges, but I'm happy with it.

### 5/5 — Great info, easy to use!

*2017-01-12, version 1.5*

Great info, easy to use

### 5/5 — An app I use everyday

*2016-12-22, version 1.5*

I love my gym and this easy to use app that it presents to us customers. I am touched by the quality of service they provide and their willingness to utilize modern technology to make the members' athletic efforts easier. Great job, CAC!

### 5/5 — Good app for chicago athletic club members

*2016-12-01, version 1.5*

Solid. Easy to use. Points are a good idea.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2016-11-29, version 1.5*

This app is really easy to use and I love the points system. It's a great motivator in tracking my workouts and checking in each time. Love the ability to see the class schedule at any time.

### 4/5 — CAC

*2016-11-24, version 1.5*

The app is easy to use. I like that I can sign into the gym using my phone. It is easy to record workouts. I love joining challenges and creating my own goals to complete. The point system is also very encouraging to get free massages!! Thank you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs to fix class schedules

*2017-06-06, version 1.5*

I can only see class schedules for West Loop and Bucktown. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2016-08-16, version 1.4*

Over engineered, sluggish, and often useless. All I want to do is look up class times and it freezes. Old app never did this. Never had so many useless features built in either.

### 1/5 — Stop working for several seconds after opening the app.

*2016-08-11, version 1.4*

Very annoying.

### 1/5 — Still not helpful

*2016-04-21, version 1.1*

Being able to search multiple locations for classes would be a major improvement. Having to set a home club doesn't serve all-access members and forces users to go through many steps to view all class options.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2016-04-03, version 1.1*

The only thing I use this app for is searching for classes. I cannot do that with this app. Useless app.

### 1/5 — Worse

*2016-02-06, version 1.0*

Whoever is making technology decisions at the club is clueless. I want to know what the pool schedule is , and the app doesn't have that. Please decide what features are important to members before building your app. At a minimum, the app should contain all the static content that you have as paper brochures. Who tested this thing ? Next time , why not ask 20 members to try it out first , before it is released. I asked someone at the desk how to find schedules on the app and they said "just take a photo of the schedules and keep it on your phone" ... Seriously?!?! You guys were so big on promoting this thing , you should have spent more energy working with your user community, and testing. How do I sign up for perks ? Oh yeah , leave the app and go to some website I haven't heard of ? That's so intuitive. Finally, here's an idea : download 20 other healthclub apps , and look at the ones that get 5 stars. Or better yet , give the app project to NU or DePaul software students. Likely get it done better AND cheaper.

### 2/5 — Constant bugs

*2017-12-28, version 1.11*

I try to use this to record my workouts, and the app is more often than not unresponsive, I can't select fields, the add workout button works about 50% of the time. An update was released and these problems persist. It's very frustrating

### 2/5 — No longer connects to Nike+

*2017-11-27, version 1.5*

The app no longer connects to other partner apps in order to share data. This is a big hindrance, especially for runners. Please fix the connection.

### 2/5 — Unreliable

*2017-11-25, version 1.5*

Periodically, the app stops syncing with MyFitnessPal. Annoying.

### 2/5 — It's only ok

*2016-11-15, version 1.5*

When I joined the gym I was so excited about the app because it lets me add classes to my calendar and it let me search all the gyms for classes. As an all access member this was so helpful to plan my workouts near home at one gym and near work at another. This new app technically lets me do this with 2 major flaws...

1. when you add a class to your calendar, it DOES NOT add what location the class is. How useless is that? Might as well forget about trying a new class or switching up my schedule. Now I get a calendar alert about yoga is at 6pm but not where the class is?

2. It makes me select a home gym that the app defaults to. I work and live in different neighborhoods. Some days I have meetings near a different gym. I hate the step of having to always maneuver out of my default gym to get to the one I am trying to look at.

The functionality is sleek but it no longer actually helps me plan my workouts. This one just requires me to constantly open it and double check it.

### 5/5 — Does what I need

*2018-01-10, version 1.11*
