### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2014-02-10, version 1.0*

I went on a three-hour walk today and this provided the *perfect* soundtrack. Beautiful, dynamic, and always interesting.

Such a cool idea. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Stunningly innovative

*2014-02-10, version 1.0*

A remarkable soundscape, ever changing. Incredibly complex, but very accessible.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2014-02-10, version 1.0*

A beautiful mix of elegant simplicity and recombinatory enchantment. Love.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not sure

*2016-08-23, version 2.0*

Not sure I understand what does it mean. Just makes a noise.

### 3/5 — Interesting idea

*2016-08-22, version 2.0*

Interesting idea - I applaud the creativity and inventiveness. However, minus two stars because this app simply cannot justify why it needs access to your location except when the app is in use.

### 4/5 — Kind of strange?

*2016-08-22, version 2.0*

Probably pretty good, still getting use to it 😀
I'm not sure if the static is intentional, but it would be better without it.

### 4/5 — WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stunning

*2015-02-04, version 1.0*

i stumbled on this app by chance and it is stunning. such relaxing ambient music and i mean that in a very non-boring cliche way. the most amazing part is the fact that the music is different depending on the cycles of the moon. it is a full moon and this is beautiful.......

### 4/5 — Quite Fun

*2014-05-12, version 1.0*

It's cool to play with and use during different activities, interface is nice too. Do note (as it says in the description) it's not meant for when you're sitting still. The refrains are quite repetitive and annoying if you're not moving. I still find a lot of similarity among the pieces strung together (or even repetition of them), but overall it's nice for the few hours I've played music from it.

### 4/5 — Liking it a lot!

*2014-02-06, version 1.0*

Although I'm not a musician, I'm liking this app more and more each day. It really gives a unique interesting sound and instrumentation personalized to an individual as they move from one place to the other. Much work and thought has gone into this app. The more you use it, the more you'll appreciate how much innovation and effort went into this app. Buy it and start enjoying it!

### 5/5 — Fantastic music generations!

*2024-08-20, version 2.0*

Chicago Ave. is simply wonderful. Relaxing. World perception transposing. I’ve rediscovered this pretty sounding app. :-€

### 5/5 — Very interesting and unique app

*2020-10-21, version 2.0*

The person who said ‘not sure what it does, just makes a noise’ should try reading what the app does, and how it was created. Giving one star because you can’t be bothered to read is pretty idiotic.

What this does is create beautiful music from 1000 recorded phrases of real musicians. It uses location, movement, and moon phase to create a unique track each time, and is designed to be carried while you move, especially in the evening/night.

It’s a very interesting and admirable creation, and in 4 years I’ve not seen another app do this.

Ignore the one star review. If you’re interested in unusual, generative music apps, with a jazzy slant, you should check this out. Very cool.

### 5/5 — Magic

*2020-02-27, version 2.0*

Magic

### 5/5 — The soundtrack

*2017-05-07, version 2.0*

In an urban world that constantly assaults the senses, and thus our essential humanity, this music and this software allows one to compose — simply by walking — one's own soundtrack of resistance and affirmation of life.

### 5/5 — Beautiful app

*2016-08-23, version 2.0*

I'm literally standing on Chicago Ave. now looking at the moon, listening intently.

### 5/5 — Pleasantly surprised

*2016-08-22, version 2.0*

Before downloading this app I wasn't really sure what to expect. However I have been enjoying listening to the relaxing melodies playing away whilst working for the last 30 minutes. Not sure if it is to everyones taste but, if you like apps such as Thunderspace and Away, then you'll definately like this too. Well done to the team that built the app and the composer who put together all the musical clips.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2016-08-21, version 2.0*

Glad that you added the ability to tip, because the app is sure worth more than I paid for it. This is one of my favorite apps of all time. I hope you will make another like it sometime with a new collection of sounds.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2016-01-02, version 1.0*

This little known app is actually really fantastic! It creates a Symphony of every path you take. It can be really awesome to travel a route and recognize a familiar tune. Definitely a must buy!

### 5/5 — Beautiful in every possible way.

*2014-02-12, version 1.0*

Downloaded this the instant I found out about it. Absolutely gorgeous interface with a beautiful soundtrack. Well done once more, Junecloud.

### 5/5 — Simply Incredible

*2014-02-11, version 1.0*

There is nothing like this app.

I own all of the iOS apps made by JuneCloud and they're an amazing group. Everything they do is done with class, style, and elegance. They are a top tier quality developer.

You won't regret this purchase for a second.
