### 2/5 — What’s up there?

*2018-05-02*

Shows nothing today. Also thanks to divvy, 10 pm and nowhere you can park in Lakeview

### 3/5 — Nice app but...

*2017-07-07, version 1.4*

Why do you need my location all the time?

### 3/5 — Great help, battery hog

*2017-06-29*

Was super helpful finding nearest kiosk and gave accurate if imprecise directions (I could figure out "240 yds northwest" but I'm not sure directionally challenged folks could).

The one-button 30 minute timer is a nice touch even though you could just as easily set a voice alarm every time you swapped up at a kiosk which I did so I didn't need to keep the app running all the time. It's a battery hog.

It's free if you accept push ads but I feel like the least I could do it give them 99 cents for their troubles. If it saved me just one overtime fee it more than paid for itself.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2017-05-27, version 1.4*

Horrendous customer "service." Clearly a racist receptionist.

### 1/5 — New version of app has a big BUG

*2017-04-22*

Just downloaded the new version of this app. The big 🐜 BUG is that if you press "Divvy Bike" to try to sign in, there's a banner across the top that says "Done", which blocks the 3-bar icon that allows you to login. So you can't get to the login page. Duh. Plus it was too difficult to find where the login page is to begin with and live phone support was not familiar with the app. She suggested I go to the Apple Store for help!

**Developer response:** You seem to be thinking of a different app. Our app is a third-party app and has no login features whatsoever. We do not have any phone support either. You are most likely thinking of the official Divvy Bike app, which is quite buggy. This is why we created our app instead.

### 1/5 — Famous "1 rack open"

*2016-07-27, version 1.4*

When it says this, it's wrong. There's nothing, very frustrating if you use Divvy to get to work quickly and then spend more time than you saved trying to find somewhere to return the bike

### 2/5 — Tracks your location in the background

*2016-07-27*

Either wants to track your movements or at all time or you need to turn off location tracking making the app useless. When you click give feedback instead of letting you message them reminds you they're not affiliated with divvy and sends the divvy website

**Developer response:** We track in the background to keep the closest station up to date for those who want that feature. You can disable these background updates in the app settings at any time.

### 2/5 — Inaccurate Dock s

*2016-06-30*

Easy to use and convienet for locating divvy locations but seems to always be at least 1-2 docks over how many there actually is. This led my fiancé and I to ride around for an extra 15 minutes to docks where the app said there was 2 open and really there was 0. Even when I refreshed as I was standing there it still said there was some open.

### 2/5 — Runs ads over the information you need

*2016-06-18, version 1.4*

This app would be decent if it didn't have and Amazon advertisement over the bike doc info.

### 1/5 — Requires constant location services

*2016-05-19, version 1.4*

I won't use this app because it requires that I allow it to have location access set to always. I understand that it may useful in many situations to have divvy be aware of my location, but that doesn't fit my use pattern. Since I'd like more co trip I when apps use my location and how much battery they use, I will not use this app.

### 1/5 — Runs ads over bike/dock info

*2016-05-06, version 1.4*

This app used to be one of the best for planning a divvy trip, then they started running ads over the section of the screen that tells you the number of bikes and the number of docks available at each station. This makes the app basically useless.

### 2/5 — 12% battery usage?!

*2016-04-21, version 1.4*

App is fine. But it uses background location even when you're not using it, and app creators haven't bothered giving the option of using location only when using the app.
This app consistently uses more battery than chrome which I use all the time. Fix the broken app plz

### 1/5 — Why track me?

*2016-04-18, version 1.4*

Why do you need my location info WHEN THE APP IS OFF?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Buyer beware

*2020-10-31*

Make sure you are purchasing the correct bike... manual vs ebike. They all look like e bikes until you try to ride it. App looses connection often and you aren’t able to contact anyone at the help center.

### 1/5 — WASTE OF TIME!

*2019-09-09, version 1.7*

It’s amazing how this app DOESN’T work. Constantly crashes, can’t adjust settings, support tab always gives you an error. Why did they even bother to make this? Just to piss people off. Absolutely with out a doubt the worst most non-functional app I’ve ever used in my life. I would give it 0 or even negative stars if I could. Don’t even bother trying to download this. Total crap!

### 1/5 — SCAM.

*2019-08-29*

Do not download. It’ll charge you automatically .99 when you chose to “hide the ads”. Do not download.

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2019-06-22*

This app is meaningless and won’t allow the user to pay for its service. Fix your issues

### 1/5 — Doesnt work

*2019-06-11*

App keeps crashing, meanwhile my partner is riding around in circles laughing at me. Thanks 👎🏾👎🏾

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-05-25*

When I try to unlock a bike it just says “We apologize, something went wrong. Please try again.”

### 1/5 — Lacks disclosure of fee for AD free option

*2018-06-22*

BEWARE...App doesn’t disclose a service fee will be charged until AFTER selecting disabling the feature. Maze of invalid processes or urls exists when attempting to contact Apple or vendor support requesting assistance.

**Developer response:** The in-app purchase for ad-removal shows the standard Apple Prompt to purchase after you toggle the switch. You have to enter your iTunes Password, Touch ID, or Face ID to confirm the purchase. If you do feel that you have made this in-app purchase in error, please contact iTunes Support for a full refund.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2018-05-01*

Doesn’t work. Says “locating” the entire time and never loads anything.

**Developer response:** If you deny the app's request for location permissions, then it cannot locate you! Please enable them and try again.

### 1/5 — The app isn't working without wifi

*2017-06-18, version 1.4*

This app is so easy to use and accurate! However, it's not working without a wifi connect right now. Will it be fixed soon?

### 1/5 — Customer

*2017-06-14, version 1.4*

You need a human factors engineer to resign your app to make it more user friendly . It's a bad design .

*2016-03-13, version 1.4*

Beautiful app, works great and quickly tells you what you need to know. The timer feature is nice too.

### 5/5 — The perfect app for divvy

*2015-08-27*

This app is exactly what an advid divvy rider needs. Open the app and you immediately can find the closest station, and find out if t has bikes or docks left. To plan your route the map is a tap away. I've used it countless red lights to find my next dock. Would recommend to ride!!!! New to divvy or a veteran in bike sharing!

### 5/5 — Useful

*2015-08-15, version 1.4*

Easy way to confirm there's a bike or open dick nearby

### 5/5 — Great little app

*2014-10-28, version 1.4*

Simple, clean interface lets you find bikes and docks quickly.
