I couldn’t believe it when the prices of long sleeve button down front blouses went up to over$100 apiece. I can go to Costco and buy a blouse for under $25 that is stylish and / or a brand name. I went to my grandchild’s College graduation and needed blue clothing I bought 2 outfits and received many compliments. So whatever I’ve bought, I’ve enjoyed. Also I am perplexed by your ‘processing’ of my orders through the app. Particularly when ordering items on sale, the order status shows as ‘processing’ and gives me a ship date at least 2 weeks ahead. Then, before the ship date, the items are automatically ‘cancelled’ despite the fact that they are still on your website (at full price). I really don’t have time to chase down orders, your customer service people are largely untrained and very frustrating to deal with. Do better, Chicos. Did I get scammed? ### 1/5 — beware deceptive business practices *2025-07-02, version 5.0.0* This company offers discounts they don’t honor and only allow you to cancel an order five minutes after it’s been made. additionally, they charge a fee for returns. I had to play detective via customer service to learn discount codes only work 40 hours after a purchase, cannot be applied to that purchase, and orders can only be cancelled five minutes after they are placed. I also learned I would be charged a fee if I returned the items. This was my first time shopping at Chico‘s, and I expected better from a national company that heavily markets its discounts and loyalty programs. Moreover, there was absolutely no possibility that they would apply the discount or cancel my order as a courtesy when these policies are communicated nowhere on the site. Be warned that it’s all smoke and mirrors.
