### 4/5 — CarPlay

*2026-06-01, version 05.27.26*

It would be nice to have CarPlay capability and also android capability so you don’t have to look at your phone when there’s a call coming in

### 4/5 — CarPlay

*2025-12-03, version 25.10.10*

It would be nice to have CarPlay capability and also android capability so you don’t have to look at your phone when there’s a call coming in

### 4/5 — Overall good, would like CarPlay

*2025-08-01, version 25.6.12*

Overall, the app is great. would just love some CarPlay functionality so I could get notifications via CarPlay instead of having to look at my phone when calls come in

### 3/5 — Needs some work

*2025-06-15*

Good app - but I wish I could select the default for chronology of the notes. I prefer to read oldest to newest, and wish it would remember my selection. Also the font being sentence case is so bad and hard to read. It should be all caps like cad. Having to slide over for the times is ridiculous, it should be formatted better so the times are just present. Love the access to info but a lot of our users report the display of info needs work.

### 4/5 — Overall a good app

*2024-11-06, version 24.11.3*

In general, this is a great app and fairly easy to use. I do wish they would make it CarPlay compatible though.

### 4/5 — Great app /// could use some touch

*2023-01-03, version 17.2*

Dark mode could be useful, or different color themes

### 4/5 — New update is great but needs dark mode

*2022-10-19, version 17.2*

The app is great and the new update streamlines a lot of features. But a dark mode is still very much needed.

### 2/5 — Mapping

*2022-08-13, version 16.0*

The latest update mapping feature does not navigate to the correct address. Is there a way to rectify this from the user standpoint

### 2/5 — Chief painful

*2019-09-09, version 15.4.11*

Running iOS 12.4 and when entering responder status, the app will not allow for entering of any time in the future. It has pop-up message stating that we cannot entering anything greater that 10 or 12 hours in the future. Well it won’t enter any future time let alone 10 or 12 hours in the future. Very frustrating. Any chance of investigating this issue and work on a fix?

### 4/5 — Works well, but...

*2018-12-21, version 15.2*

The current version has what can only be a big. I can’t see why it would be this way intentionally.

When setting notifications, there is no “save” functionality or button. When you set an alert for a particular unit and then close the setting screen utilizing the “x,” your preferences aren’t saved. They can only be saved by setting them, and then clicking on another function. So, set a “channel alert,” close the screen—nothing saves. Set a “channel alert,” then click on “my schedule,” then back to “channel alert—“ it saves...

### 4/5 — Great app

*2018-12-06, version 15.2*

Great app the whole dept loves it other than people with iPhone. The app doesn’t have the 3rd party notifications availability so the notification sounds in app don’t work it’s just normal iPhone notification sounds

### 4/5 — App

*2017-11-01, version 8.13*

Great app gps need a lot of work

### 1/5 — Chief 180

*2026-08-07, version 08.04.26*

Should be called Chief 180 instead of Chief360 because it only works half the time.

### 1/5 — Needs some work

*2026-07-08, version 06.17.26*

WHEN WILL YOU FIX NOTES TO NOT HAVE VARYING TEXT SPACING AND WEIRD SWIPE OUT TIMES. EMBED THE TIMES SO WE DO NOT NEED TO SWIPE ONE BY ONE

* edit *

You guys literally broke the time display in the latest update. Who’s coding this? Basic edge case. Maybe find a way to display the notes and times better because why should we suppress times automatically. Feels like two guys hobby project not a professional software company.

iPad UX/UI is awful and clunky and doesn’t prioritize incident views. Requires multiple presses just to view an incident.

This app needs a significant overhaul but it’s obvious the developers are providing barely any progress or roadmap. Wouldn’t recommend.

App crashes daily. WTF.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-10-15, version 25.10.10*

For an app that tracks Emergency responses and who’s responding and dispatches Emergency response it is extremely bad that it goes down several times DAILY and we can’t even use the app

### 1/5 — Customer Service Non Existent

*2025-07-06, version 25.6.12*

Our entire county is constantly ignored by their customer service. Their app constantly crashes and there are delays daily in notifications

### 1/5 — Contact Feature

*2024-08-13, version 24.7.17*

The contact feature will not allow submitting. It states a valid phone number is required. The phone number that is being input is current. Why will it now allow this to be submitted?

### 2/5 — Good, but could be better

*2026-06-06, version 06.04.26*

Icons on map, especially hydrants don’t stand out enough on hybrid map style. Even setting them to the largest size doesn’t help that much. Also notifications volume is linked to media volume. Not ringtone volume. If you have your media volume turned down low you can miss an alert. Lastly, when reaching out to support about any issue you never get a reply or a response. Very frustrating.

### 2/5 — Needs some work

*2026-01-26, version 26.01.23*

### 2/5 — Mapping issue

*2023-04-25, version 23.3.30*

Since the update I’ve been having a problem with the navigation and also having problems with updating bulletins. Says it’s saved but doesn't actually change.

### 2/5 — Mapping issue

*2022-08-21, version 16.1*

Since the update I’ve been having a problem with the navigation sending me to the wrong address

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2026-05-28, version 05.27.26*

Features work as designed works seamless!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-01-20, version 25.10.10*

This app is amazing. It is literally helping us save lives!

### 5/5 — Watch

*2024-08-01, version 24.7.17*

Is there plans for an smartwatch version of the app? I’ve tried everything in the settings to try and get the alert to go off on my phone while wearing my watch without disabling all of my watch features. The alert wakes me up at night for calls but if you wear a smart watch while sleeping (health reason) the notification goes to the watch which is hardly a notification and the alert sound on the mobile app is not played.

### 5/5 — Best Responder App on the Market

*2022-08-19, version 16.1*

Chief Mobile has absolutely changed our fire department for the better. From tracking responders getting to the station to integrating scheduling and all in between for the price is unbelievable. We will continue to support Chief Mobile and the community will continue to receive better response times from us because of their tech.

### 5/5 — 1 Alerting app

*2022-07-08, version 15.4.14*

The best alerting app out there. Some great customer service from the sales team.

### 5/5 — Chief Mobile

*2020-06-05, version 15.4.14*

Our department uses all of the chief technologies platforms daily. As one of the busiest fire departments in the region it is the best of its kind and I highly recommend it to any public safety agency.

### 5/5 — Essential Fire Department App

*2020-03-07, version 15.4.14*

This app greatly improved our fire department responses by giving us the information we need right in one area in the app. We can see which members are responding, detailed mapping feature with directions, send messages easily to ant member, and alerts when our tones go off. Definitely recommend to any EMS or fire agency.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2020-02-11, version 15.4.13*

Love using the Chief App. This allows me to quick view the call, address, and even locate hydrants. This app has allowed our department to function smoothly with Chief Scheduling. Everyone Fire Department should have this app!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2017-09-21, version 8.4*

Nice tool to use for response

### 5/5 — Works Well

*2017-08-08, version 8.3*

After updating it, it had some issues with notification. Uninstalled and then reinstalled and, it works just fine now.

Just one suggestion: It would be a lot easier for navigation purposes if it would allow you to open it in Google or Apple maps or in app navigation.
